Avalanche is a powerful Frost Atronach that accompanies the Riekling mage Rizzuk Bonechill in Frostvault. It makes use of many deadly unique frost-based attacks.
When Rizzuk is killed, Avalanche will crumble and die immediately afterwards.

Skills and AbilitiesEdit
As a boss type enemy, Avalanche is immune to all crowd control effects.
- Ice Shards
- A basic melee attack that deals moderate frost damage.
- Hoarfrost Fist
- The boss swings its arm around dealing very high frost damage as indicated by a cone. Avoid this if possible even as a tank.
- Glacial Cage
- The boss stomps and summons a ring of ice around its target. It will then swing it arms hitting its LEFT, then the BACK/RIGHT/LEFT, and finally hitting the RIGHT side (directions assuming the boss is facing you). Leaving the ring before the attack is over will kill the target.
- Glacial Prison
- The boss places its fist in the ground and summons a small ice ball that rolls towards a target dealing moderate frost damage. If every player touches the frost ball before the fight ends, it will net players the Cold Potato achievement.
