- "Tomes brought by a Guild member. Mages Guild members seek out books, tomes, and ancient scrolls in their travels. We aid each other where we can, and provide magical support for any that would ask our help."
- So you act as bookhunters?
- "Just so. We seek out new information, capture it in our libraries, and make copies for distribution across Tamriel. The Guild doesn't care about wars, battlefields, or boundaries: just knowledge, and the acquisition of new tomes."
- And if I can get you some of these tomes…?
- "The guild teaches unique spells only available to members, and provides access to special training. And, from time to time, projects crop up for those with an adventuresome spirit. You may end up working with Guildmaster Vanus himself!"
