Please tell meEdit

Do they rebuild the house? — Unsigned comment by 86.149.237.24 (talk) on 22 September 2009

I'm not sure what you mean, the house is never destroyed. It's only a mess inside. --Timenn-<talk> 14:34, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

Weatherlea InteriorEdit

Do the Jemane brothers ever get around to fixing the interior of Weatherlea (ala Cropsford?). I was just curious, also I can't seem to catch either of them sleeping and so the Black Hood I accidentally slipped onto Guilbert is stuck on him... any help here? AzureSN 19:42, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

On my first character they had not fixed it the last time i checked up on them. They should at least take the corpse out of the fireplace. SneakyPenguin77 (also my Gamertag) 04:50, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
Ah thanks, I'll give it a little more time to see if it does get sorted out (surely they don't want to live in there surrounded by corpses?) AzureSN 16:49, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
Well, like i said in the talk page for legacy lost, they are morons. In short, Reynold owns a nice, big, house in chorrol, and they chose to move there. So maybe they are not smart enough to clean the house. I say complete their quest line and, if they dont clean up the corpses, let them join them. --SneakyPenguin77 (also my Gamertag) 15:31, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
Ok, it doesn't get sorted in the slightest... is that even worth adding to the page, even if only to prevent this question being repeatedly asked? AzureSN 07:35, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
It Might be, lets leave it up to one of the more authoritative users, if they dont make a choice on it soon, however, we can just add it ourselves and they can change it to their liking. --SneakyPenguin77 (also my Gamertag) 17:15, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
Well i have proven myself wrong, i just looked on my second character when i went to finish sins of the father and its cleaned up, i dont believe it but it is. --SneakyPenguin77 (also my Gamertag) 03:21, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
Ah, it's not a time based change then? Well I'll test it both ways through... AzureSN 19:50, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Safe House TestingEdit

If you've read the Conversation above this then you know that i recently discovered that they do rebuild the house. After completing sins of the father i killed them, because they wouldnt talk to me anymore, and I've decided to test their house for non-respawning containers, Ill let you all know how it turns out, if this works there may be a new unofficial safe house to add to the list. --SneakyPenguin77 (also my Gamertag) 03:32, 6 October 2009 (UTC)

It's not a safe house by site definition, there isn't even one safe container, let alone 2. However if you like it that much you can stay there as long as you don't mind storing everything on the ground or shelves. The Bed works and its got a decent amount of space, just don't leave anything in the attic because it can fall through the floor. On a side note, it's rather odd that 2 brothers were living there yet there was only one small bed. I don't recommend using it as a house for the simple reason that there are better unofficial safe houses, such as the Marie Elena after you complete "A Watery Grave." If you really like it that much, then fine. --SneakyPenguin77 (also my Gamertag) 20:24, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

lots of bodiesEdit

i though their were only the mother, the father and the two brothers lived their when the ogres attaked and yet their are 3000 skulls upstairs so unless their family had some weird mutated head grow problem this might meen that their were more family members living their when tha ogres attaked.--(Theblack7 20:28, 31 May 2010 (UTC))

There are 12 skulls. It's possible the ogres brought other people there and the skulls are all that remain. rpeh •TCE 13:49, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

New Note on PageEdit

This note was added:

  • If the player visits before the appropriate point in Legacy Lost, a glitch may stop the ogres from ever spawning, making the quest unfinishable.

I am pretty sure that I have gone to Weatherleah before getting the quest or even talking to the brothers once and the Ogres were still there. --DKong27 Talk Cont 13:46, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

I'd already removed the note before I saw this. Yes, it's a one-off, or the poster was confused or whatever. It definitely doesn't happen every time. rpeh •TCE 14:30, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

Weatherleah Never RepairedEdit

I missed the trigger at stage 20 in Sins of the Father and now Weatherleah wont ever be fixed. on the Sins of the Father page it is claimed to be fixed by the Unofficial Patch Suppliment but I have it installed and Weatherleah remains the same. Do I need to wait a certain amount of time? Is there any other fix other than loading an save prior to stage 20 of Sins of the Father? — Unsigned comment by 144.132.5.135 (talk) on 15 October 2011

Discrepancy in the gardenEdit

There is a discrepancy between the descriptions of the restored garden in the main text and the notes. The main text states:

the brothers try their hand at farming, planting a garden of carrots, potatoes, and lettuce.

The notes state:

Upon completion of the quest Sins of the Father, the following plants will grow in the garden: 12 Potato Plants, 12 Lettuce Plants, and 4 Pumpkin Vines.

So which is it? Carrots or pumpkins? Or both? I'm not in a position to check this myself currently, otherwise I would do so. — Wolfborn(Howl) 23:53, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

Checked in the CS, it's pumpkin vines - no carrots to be found... -- SarthesArai Talk 17:37, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for checking and correcting. I probably won't get around to doing these quests for some time (my character has been trying to get out of Skingrad for a week without running into yet another Oblivion gate), and I have yet to download the CS and start poking around "under the hood". — Wolfborn(Howl) 23:37, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
