Oblivion talk:Unfinished Business

FameEdit

Another site reports that if you don't reveal that Maglir shirked his duty, you don't get a fame bonus. http://www.gamerstemple.com/vg/games17/001911/001911g307.asp — Unsigned comment by Sparkyg35 (talkcontribs) at 00:47 on 6 June 2006‎ (UTC)

Avoid Falling RocksEdit

Is there any way to avoid the falling rocks in the top left passage? — Unsigned comment by LittleWillow (talkcontribs) at 07:34 on 3 December 2006 (UTC)

It's possible, but it doesn't get you anywhere. See Fallen Rock Cave. --Nephele 20:23, 3 December 2006 (EST)

No longer incompleteEdit

Per this edit, the page has been expanded for its maximum inclusion. Not every page will be like The Ultimate Heist. Elliot (talk) 20:18, 21 August 2011 (UTC)

Here's the deal - just because the page is "expanded" doesn't mean it is up to standards. This page still suffers from the UESP-"just beat the quest and get on with it"-syndrome from 2007, even after the added stuff, especially this section which even ends with a comma. I'm not saying that every quest page should be like The Ultimate Heist (that one sucks as well), but that it should at least be more helpful than "follow the map marker to the target" - or insightful, maybe. Did you know that you can ask around Skingrad about Maglir? There's so much stuff we could add to make the quest a bit more exciting - but fine, the page is now longer, although only marginally better. Also, watch your edit summaries - and that is not a debate.--Krusty 20:29, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
Leave the power trip at home, please.
When reading the quest page takes longer than the time it takes to do the quest, there is an issue. We don't need to include everything. Elliot (talk) 23:49, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
There was no "power trip" in Krusty's comment, and personal comments like that aren't welcome.
Oblivion is a Role-Playing Game, and our quest walkthroughs should be more than "Go and find the journal then come back". It's too late for me to evaluate the new version of the quest page properly, but please can you stop your edit-warring tendencies? It's BRD, not BRRR. rpeh •TCE 00:22, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
He's an administrator, not a king. And my edit summary is perfectly fine; it is nearly the same as "look again". And I have no "edit warring tendencies". I have reverted 4 times in the past week and a half, and not one of them was on the same page. Yeah... Elliot (talk) 00:38, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
