PolyporesEdit

There are 4 polypores in Oblivion. Polypores are real mushrooms (ususally bracket) that grow on rotting wood and lack a stalk. Because they grow on rotting wood they are also rot resistant which makes them interesting to science. They can live so long that moss will grow on them sometimes giving them a greenish appearance. The Tinder Polypore cap is very close to a Tinder Bracket Fomes fomentarius. They are typically inedible and even in oblivion many polypores can not be picked and are more like a tree.
