Oblivion talk:Reistr the Rotted

No Bounty?Edit

I'm sure I did get a bounty from killing a Skooma addict before. If you kill Reistr in front of a guard I'm sure you would get a bounty.--Willyhead 16:06, 1 August 2007 (EDT)

I'd tend to agree, and I distinctly remember getting chased out of Bravil by the guards at one point for some crime done in the skooma den. I doubt that the bounty is a function of who you kill (at least for non-enemy NPCs whose death counts as a murder), rather it should be a function of who witnesses the attack. Most of the addicts in the Skooma Den have very low responsibilities (i.e., 0 for Reistr) and therefore will not report any crimes they witness, even if they are the victims of the crime. So it may often be possible to get away with crimes. But my guess is that if Gellius Terentius, for example, was present in the Skooma Den when you murdered Reistr you would get a bounty. And, as Willyhead said, if a guard was present I'm sure he'd arrest you. So that comment needs to be reworded. --NepheleTalk 16:31, 1 August 2007 (EDT)
Usually the addicts will not leave the den and as long as they are killed int he den they will not call the guards thus you don't get a bounty.--Most Honored Listener 16:50, 1 August 2007 (EDT)
But as Nephele said, Gellius Terentius (a.k.a Count Bravil jr) often visits the Den- so if he was present while you were killing/assaulting poor Reistr, he would call the Guards for sure thus you do get a bounty.--Willyhead 17:21, 1 August 2007 (EDT)
I hope the compromise of adding (if no guards are around) is good enough and as stated on the pages he only visits once a week.--Most Honored Listener 17:30, 1 August 2007 (EDT)
I appreciate you changing it, but in the end i opted for If no people are around (besides the other skooma addicts)- case closed ;)--Willyhead 17:32, 1 August 2007 (EDT)
Just remember that the one guard is a skooma addict... but that should do.--Most Honored Listener 17:38, 1 August 2007 (EDT)
