Drunk and DisorderlyEdit

I believe that the Notes section as well as the Minotaur Horn page should be properly edited to correct the information so that it corresponds to the information on the Drunk and Disorderly page and the Strategy Guide. As I am not sure which information is correct I will leave it up to someone else to correct it Ankoch 14:37, 15 June 2008 (EDT)

What do you think is incorrect? As far as I can see the note on this page and the Minotaur Horn page is correct. Forget the Strategy Guide - it's notoriously inaccurate. –Rpeh^{•T•C•E•} 03:31, 16 June 2008 (EDT)

In the notes section of Drunk and Disorderly its says "After you collect the ectoplasm, she will buy minotaur horns and ogre teeth from you in bunches of 10."

However in the Notes section of Ogre's Teeth and Minotaur Horn it says "As part of the quest Drunk and Disorderly, Margarte states that she is interested in buying Minotaur Horns and Ogre's Teeth. However, it is not possible to actually sell her either item." Ankoch 12:53, 16 June 2008 (EDT)

OK, I've just tried to get to the bottom of this despite much debate and edit conflicts and disagreements taking place all over the site. Based on my results, Margarte will buy Ogre's Teeth and Minotaur Horns from the player. I've confirmed this both by checking the CS dialogues and then, for good measure, I went in game. And sure enough, dialogue options were there; when I used the dialogue options, the ingredients were removed from my character's inventory and gold was added. As far as I'm concerned, that's the equivalent of selling her the ingredients. --Nephele^Talk 17:09, 2 July 2008 (EDT)

Just to provide some more details, in case anyone else is having a hard time confirming this. The dialogue option "Minotaur Horn" (FormID 000B1668, Editor ID MinotaurHornTOPIC) will only appear if you have 5 Minotaur Horns in your inventory. Similarly, the dialogue option "Ogre's Teeth" (FormID 000B1667, Editor ID OgreTeethTOPIC) will only appear if you have 5 Ogre's Teeth in your inventory. So if you're not seeing the dialogue options, it's because you don't have the ingredients.

My test was done on a PC with all patches installed. If someone is not seeing this in-game, then it would be useful to know exactly what version and what patches have been installed. But in any case, it seems clear that this behaviour is what Margarte was supposed to do, and that she does do it an up-to-date version of the game. Therefore I see no reason why the information should be deleted from the article, especially if the only reason is that it differs from what was previously here. --Nephele^Talk 17:17, 2 July 2008 (EDT)
