Resurrecting JeeliusEdit

How can I resurrect Jeelius so that he goes back to the Temple of the One (using the console)? If I try to spawn a copy of him he is permanently unconcious and naked, and next time I enter the area he is in we appears underground, lying down. Please help! 86.46.215.16 14:52, 22 April 2009 (EDT)

Try this:
  • prid 00024E3B
  • enable
  • resurrect
  • enable
I've often found that two enable commands are necessary if an NPC has respawned. –RpehTCE 15:23, 22 April 2009 (EDT)
Thanks for replying. I found that by moving him to the player and using the resurrect 1 command, he thanks me for saving him and thought me some restoration tips. He's still naked, however, so I'll have to add some clothes to his inventory. Again, thanks for the help. 86.46.215.16 15:39, 22 April 2009 (EDT)
Ugh, every time he enters a new room (or every time I start up the game again, or perhaps a mix of both) he becomes 'unconcious' again. Is there any way I can set him to have been rescued, or at least stop him from falling asleep all the time? 86.46.215.16 16:44, 22 April 2009 (EDT)
He also seems to be making his way back to Lake Arrius Caverns. 86.46.215.16 16:49, 22 April 2009 (EDT)
Try set MQ06.freePrisoner to 1. –RpehTCE 00:42, 23 April 2009 (EDT)
Yay! It worked! He's returned to the Temple and has taken up a schedule of wandering around inside. 86.46.236.31 16:50, 24 April 2009 (EDT)

Light the DragonfiresEdit

I know Tandilwe is disabled during light the dragonfires quest, is Jeelius also?--Arch-Mage Matt 20:56, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

No, he is not disabled during the quest. However, Tandilwe technically isn't either. What actually happens is that there are two versions of the Temple's interior: The normal one, and the one that you visit during the attack. When the final quest is running, it switches the door to get out the Imperial Palace with one that takes the player to the "under attack" version of the IC, including that version of the Temple interior. When you complete the quest, the door out of the "under attack" temple is then swapped out with one to the normal Temple district. Tandilwe's and Jeelius' AIs have them permanently staying in the normal interior. So they don't get disabled during the attack. They are simply inaccessible while that part of the quest is running. I have edited Tandilwe's page to more accurately describe this -XJDHDR (talk) 01:31, 1 September 2023 (UTC)

Back from the dead?Edit

Something very odd happened. So first, I killed him during the Dagon Shrine quest, and then two (in-game) years later, I returned to the caves, and found Jeelius still chained to the table, alive and well. P.S. This is on the Xbox 360. 69.210.37.206 04:35, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

This happen to me as well while I was playing on the Xbox 360. I killed Jeelius with the silver dagger, joining the cult, then once I killed all the Mythic Dawn NPCs I returned immediately back to the room only to see Jeelius alive and when I clicked on him I was given the prompt to free him causing him to flee. This took only half a day (in-game time) at best to happen.

How does he escape?Edit

I haven't been able to determine exactly what he does to escape. I decided to try some different methods with this quest on this playthrough, and went in with a goal of keeping him alive. Slaying the cultists in the shrine room before freeing him has provided the best odds of success. Once loosed from the alter, however, he goes into flight mode, runs to the locked gate that bars entry to the living quarters, and cowers there. I've tried spells and even attacking him to get him to speak, but he won't. Nor will he abandon that specific location; if I push him, he runs around the immediate area until I'm no longer standing in his spot.

Under these circumstances, I grab the book, the statue collapses, and he beats feet (on one occasion, Harrow, who I snuck by in order to gain entry, suddenly appeared and attacked me). If I linger, I usually find him dead in one of the first passages of the next cavern cell. Making haste usually means I can preserve him all the way through, though he typically outruns me. When I am able to keep pace, he either exits the cell just ahead of me or I am certain he can't be killed when I hit the door first, but I have never seen him on the other side. Further evidence that he has gone that way does not exist (ie. neither the gate nor the boulder are moved, the last acolyte is undisturbed). If I rush outside and search the road, he is not there.

Fast travelling to the Imperial City does not produce him, either. But if I ride or walk the distance in real-time, he's waiting for me at the temple, still disrobed. I'm wondering if his transportation is scripted, but his attire is somehow not assigned until sometime after you meet up with him on the outside.

He's an interesting caracter, not for this brief appearance, but for his overall role in the lore. For starters, there aren't too many other Argonians affiliated with temples to the Divines, let alone who are clergy. 71.61.174.190 13:57, 28 June 2014 (GMT)Imbalance
