Can't Find FalcarEdit

i cant find falcar in the mages guild does anyone know where he is? — Unsigned comment by 71.58.174.131 (talk) at 23:56 on 23 April 2007‎

I had the same problem. He is inside the door in the basement, which requires a key to open. Just go into the main floor of the mages guild and wait until about 7:00am. If he is not on the main floor, wait for another hour, then another and so on. Depending on his schedule, you might have to wait for a full day. I remember having a lot of trouble with it too, but it will work. Dio 225 01:36, 24 April 2007‎
Another alternative on the PC is to use the Console to spawn him at your location, use the command player.placeatme 0002CD21. Volanaro 13:48, 17 December 2007 (EST)
Actually, it's far safer to avoid spawning multiple copies of the same NPC. Why not just move your character to wherever the existing Falcar is currently hiding, using player.moveto 2E547 ? --NepheleTalk 02:42, 8 January 2008 (EST)
It's also possible to move Falcar to wherever your character is, using prid 2E547 and then moveto player. --Gez 05:31, 8 January 2008 (EST)
Yh that's the command i meant, got a bit confused Volanaro 05:34, 8 January 2008 (EST)

JerkEdit

Can I just say I strongly approved of when this article used to say "Falcar is the Altmer head of the Cheydinhal Mages Guild Chapter, and an all-round jerk."

I actually think it's encyclopedic to include such a description of him ;) — Unsigned comment by 87.127.79.8 (talk) at 15:54 on 21 March 2009

Falcar's SpeedEdit

It is obvious in the Ambush quest that Falcar has a higher than natural speed over that of other NPCs, but I was wondering: What is the exact value for his speed? As far as I can tell, he's the fastest NPC I've encountered. — Unsigned comment by 68.47.46.143 (talk) on 25 July 2009

His speed is 81. M'aiq the Liar's is 100. –rpehTCE 16:21, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
Ah, I forgot about M'aiq. Thank you, I just wanted to know, in case I decided to try for damage or drain speed on him. — Unsigned comment by 68.47.46.143 (talk) at 17:43 on 25 July 2009‎

Falcar's RankEdit

I quote from The Path of Transcendence (Journal of Celedaen, target of the first Dead Drop): 'Not even Falcar himself can match my sheer tenacity, my unwillingness to accept failure on any level.' Wouldn't this imply that Falcar is a strong/high ranked member at the Necromancers? (My point is about the fact that he's a strong/high ranked member, not that he IS a member, as already described in the page). 82.197.198.226 16:20, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

I never read The Path of Transcendence before, but I am pretty sure it should be mentioned on the Falcar page - and if not there, then at least on the Celedaen page. As for your theory, I'm not sure it says so much about his rank within the Necromancers - but it is an obvious clue to his "real" identity, so it should definitely be on on of the mentioned pages. --Krusty 16:09, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

VampireEdit

Is falcar a vampire cuz when u talk to him, his bottom teeth have fangs — Unsigned comment by 68.171.235.179 (talk) on 27 October 2010

The Path of TranscendenceEdit

He is being mentioned directly as a necromancer in this book. Shouldn't this be a clue to his real intentions? --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 00:53, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

It is mentioned in Notes that he is mentioned. --DKong27 Talk Cont 00:55, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
I mean for someone doing the Mages Guild questline who already did the quest Affairs of a Wizard. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 00:57, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
Well, you find out on your first meeting that there's something up with him when he kills an associate, tries to kill you, disappears and has weird black soul gems chilling in his bedside locker. If you hadn't done the Necromancer's Moon quest yet then it might not be exceptionally clear that he's a necromancer, but it's obvious from the start that he's a baddie. DialogueEdit

This piece of dialogue was found on Vidkin's page: Falcar himself is less sympathetic: "Run into him, have you? As I said, he was incompetent. Couldn't pass a simple lesson." I have copied it over to Falcar's page, however due to Falcar disappearing while you are gone looking for the ring I cannot see how this dialogue can ever be heard. It may be in the CS, but I can't see it being available in-game. --Manic 16:27, 25 June 2011 (UTC)

I think this was a CS adding without too much thinking. I don't recall being able to ask Falcar about Vidkun. I started a section on Vidkun's talk page regarding that dialogue. So unless I'm mistaken, this will be put into the Notes section. ~ Dwarfmp 17:59, 25 June 2011 (UTC)

Spoiler?Edit

The very first line in this article spoils his plot line. Seriously? It should be fixed. — Unsigned comment by 108.15.26.164 (talk) at 09:05 on 11 August 2013

From the front page of the wiki: "This site's purpose is to provide information; therefore, most of the content contains spoilers." You're on the wrong website if you do not want spoilers. We try to avoid unnecessary ones, but this is a central point to this character. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 09:30, 11 August 2013 (GMT)

After SilornEdit

If you do not engage in combat at Silorn, instead pickpocketing the gem and immediately fast travelling away, is Falcar disabled or does he have a destination to return to? Crayolamanic (talk) 01:02, 2 December 2013 (GMT)

I don't see anything in the CS that indicates he would be disabled. I'm assuming he'll just stay where he is for the rest of the game ~ Dwarfmp (talk) 01:20, 2 December 2013 (GMT)
