Oblivion talk:Acrobatics Training

you're rightEdit

You know, I didn't realize that was the in-game name of the quest. This page should definitely exist. By the way, why was it invisible? --GuildKnight (Talk) contribs 22:22, 28 September 2007 (EDT)

Deletion tags on redirect pages are invisible. If you put the deletion tag after the redirect, then the redirect still works (which of itself means that no readers are warned that the page is being considered for deletion), and even if you make a point of looking at the redirect page, the deletion notice does not appear because the wiki ignores almost everything that appears after a redirect tag on a page. If you put the deletion tag before the redirect, then it's visible but the redirect is broken (which overall I think is preferable). --NepheleTalk 22:30, 28 September 2007 (EDT)

Torbern is not training me. Ever!Edit

I've done this maybe 9-10 times, both on PC and XBOX 360, and he has NEVER had the "training" option when you speak to him. Can anyone help me out. I've used both the normal and the GOTY version on the XBOX, and I've used the normal, the normal and patched and normal-but-but-heavily-modded version on the PC. It's kind of irritating when you can't get master training...

He only offers his services during certain times of the day. Specifically, 12am-8am and 2pm-8pm every day. You also need to have a recommendation from one of the lower level Acrobatics trainers.--12.107.122.230 13:04, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
It's official, I'm a bloody idiot... But in my defense - I've actually managed, trough several gameplays with different platforms, NEVER to talk to him on the correct time of the day! Now there's an accomplishment :P — Unsigned comment by 83.109.73.46 (talk) at 10:32 on 31 March 2010

A problem with the Quest MarkerEdit

I came across the acrobatics master training quest whilst in the middle of the Main Quest, so simply put it to one side as acrobatics is not one of my Major Skills. Roughly a hundred hours of gameplay later I decided to pick it back up. When I got to Aerin's camp it was deserted and the Quest Marker pointed to somewhere down the hill, on a patch of bare ground surrounded by Ogres. Torbern's corpse was nowhere to be seen. What's gone wrong? --Kvaener 18:58, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

hmm...i'm no expert but i have a couple of thereorys(sorry about the spelling)he may have died and the game didn't regester it or mabye you forgot to change your active quest and then if it isn't one of 2 then i'm of no help--GUM!!! 20:30, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
See here; he isn't essential and could well have died. Furthermore, his corpse would have disappeared after three in-game days. Another, likely, possibility is that you were on this quest and the quest marker pointed to the Ogres for that reason. --SerCenKing Talk 10:44, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

AerinEdit

Does Aerin actuly exist any where in the game or Contruction set?? Dunehelm 00:35, 16 August 2013 (GMT) Dunehelm

No, as it says on the page "Although Ganredhel and Tsrava will tell you to find Aerin for master training, Aerin is nowhere to be found. However, you will find Torbern, who agrees to train you in her absence". Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 01:14, 16 August 2013 (GMT)
I know he/she does not exist in-game but in the CS maybe? Dunehelm 16:26, 16 August 2013 (GMT)
She doesn't exist in the game data, either. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 16:28, 16 August 2013 (GMT)
Dang Dunehelm 16:35, 16 August 2013 (GMT)

() Actually, Aerin appeared in Morrowind, if it satisfies your curiosity on her appearance in TES games. Guard of DragonsSpeak To Me 17:23, 16 August 2013 (GMT)

That's assuming they are one and the same, of which there is no evidence. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 17:46, 16 August 2013 (GMT)
She was still an acrobatics trainer, so it could be the same person. Guard of DragonsSpeak To Me 18:34, 16 August 2013 (GMT)
It's not important as the article already mentions Aerin from Morrowind, and this has ventured into speculative territory inappropriate for our wiki. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 18:36, 16 August 2013 (GMT)
