Item Duplication TrickEdit

Has anyone been able to duplicate the Shadowbanish Wine using the Item Duplication trick (specifically, the scroll item duplication trick)? I started this quest, and thought that I would cheat and finish it quickly, but when I try to duplicate, I just get the bottles (2) that I started with.

Well?

I was going to put a comment in the Notes section, but thought I would ask in the discussion page first.

Same here. I've been unable to duplicate the wine using the scrolls trick. Darkle 19:34, 17 September 2007 (EDT)
Quite a few items cannot be copied, and I've tried to dupe them with the scroll and arrow, but ended up with the same amount, so I guess that this one of the non-dupe items. And also:
Notes
     * It is not possible to use the duplication glitch on the wine. Caboose 13:02, 25 March 2008 (EDT)

It is possible to obtain duplicates using the skull of corruption duplication glitch, however the quest script is removed and she will not accept the copies. (Same with nirnroots in 'Seeking your roots' and Ayield Statues in the relevant quests.) --Manic 23:51, 11 December 2010 (UTC)

WeyeEdit

Is the Wawnet inn part of Weye? i thought weye was just the name of the house since the wawnet inn has a seperate label to Weye--Willyhead 16:27, 11 July 2007 (EDT)

Well seeing as how they are, according to the map, two different places, I'd say no.
I think that depends on how you want to look at it. You could say Weye was a house and an inn, just a house, a really pathetic village, or use your imagination and conjur up some vast town that something happened to. I just think of it as a really pathetic village, one house by an inn. At the end of a bridge.KarKing Jack

"Bug" is Fixed?Edit

I'm not sure what this means exactly:

The wine is described as having been "made in one tiny batch", but an infinite amount is available since it respawns repeatedly.
  * This bug is fixed by the Unofficial Oblivion Patch.

Does this mean that all containers with the wine no longer respawn, or that the dialog has been changed, or...?

I've noticed this problem on several other articles as well. Somebody lazily sticks a reference to the {UOP} template but never explains what exactly is "fixed" by the patch. Thanks. 128.187.0.164 03:45, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

You're always free to expand the template yourself, and add the various comments. It's not like you would be too lazy to do that for us, would you? --Timenn-<talk> 11:58, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
If I knew the answer I'd be happy to. However, I don't have any idea how to do a "diff" between the RTM game the the UOP. 128.187.0.164 05:37, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

I checked, they don't seem to respawn anymore, and better late than never. --96.23.229.131 06:17, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

I checked it too, the wine no longer respawns. 188.103.32.250 13:42, 27 August 2011 (UTC)

RecollectionEdit

Does anyone know if there is any way to get the wine back after the quest has been completed?-corevette789 70.106.167.76 01:08, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Well, you could simply get back to where you found it in first place. Since the wine is not unique, it will respawn in the fixed containers where you find it (except the ones added by the plug-ins)--MC S'drassa T2M 01:53, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Thanks I feel stupid I didn't read the main page close enough.--Corevette789 16:20, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

Why list forts as "quest-related?"Edit

All of the forts here say "quest-related" but some (maybe all?) are not related to any quest other than this one. Isn't this a bit misleading? In my mind, if I'm reading the list on this page and it says "quest-related" I assume that means the fort is related to another quest entirely so maybe I should put off visiting it until doing that associated quest. Anyone disagree?

Edit: nevermind. I just realized that part of the text is not editable. It is part of the "Place" tag? An obvious noob error on my part. But I wonder if it is possible to change this behavior then. It does make this article (and possible others) mis-leading. DeJuan N. Onley (talk) 11:24, 9 February 2014 (GMT)
