Requiered RecordsEdit

I'm a bit.. confused. Everywhere the EDIT and FULL records are called 'requiered'. But a birtsign saved with no information just contains a DESC record with the zero zstring terminator (*g*). Oh of course it also works ingame, So you can have a 'no birtshign birthsign' ;) --Mavoss 12:32, 27 June 2006 (EDT)

Even more confusion I got from EDID O.o - There are some records the CS will create if it does not find them. In SKIL I marked those as requiered. The DESC is also one of them. They are created with default values. For DESC it's just the terminator, the DATA struct in SKIL has its 14 byte length with some data, etc. But the EDID record is special: its value is selected from the previous loaded files. I think they've done this cause it is used everywhere. So maybe I answered my own question --Mavoss 09:55, 29 June 2006 (EDT)
