The game locks up after completing the Clavicus Vile shrine quest

Cause - UnknownEdit

Seems to be a bug in the game code, related to the item that is placed in your pack as a part of the quest.

Solution: Workaround: See the Clavicus Vile Bugs on the quest page.

Solution: Install the Oblivion v.1.1.511 patch.
