Morrowind talk:Writ for Tirer Belvayn

When I received this quest I had already killed Tirer Belvayn. It automatically completed the quest, but I didn't receive any gold and I'm not sure how much disposition (if any) I got. The guide explains what happens if you get a bounty during the quest, but not this situation. --— Unsigned comment by 71.114.175.38 (talk) 01:04, 14 August 2008 (EDT)

This is pretty much what happens with every writ if you've already killed the person in question, and indeed with most other quests that involve killing someone (though other factions may still give you the reward in some cases.) The quest will complete, but you won't receive any gold, and I think you may actually get a slight decrease in disposition, but I'd have to check. --TheRealLurlock Talk 01:04, 14 August 2008 (EDT)

Is it possible - in this case- to get reported at all? After all, he is the only person present and will attack you anyway. -Meisterdieb 12:21, 14 January 2009 (EST)

I think it's possible, but you'd almost have to be specifically trying to do so. By which I mean, something ridiculous like casting Calm and Command Humanoid, then making him follow you to somewhere where there are witnesses, and then killing him. It might come up if you decided to kill him with the BiPolar Blade from Tribunal - that tends to have strange effects like that. Anyhow, that statement is just used in general on all Morag Tong writs, whether it's likely to occur or nor. --TheRealLurlock Talk 22:36, 14 January 2009 (EST)
