Morrowind talk:Seyda Neen Homes
Arrille's TradehouseEdit
about Arrille's Tradehouse, Is this including the information including the basment or just the upstairs room, because if this is refering to the basment the description might want to include the fact that it has a lock door and will get 95% of the time reported when attempting to open it. AND taking things from the crates and selling anything of the same name back to Arrille will get reported. As for the simple room upstairs it is also locked but yes there is a chest and bed when unlocked.
Shacking up in the Census and Excise Office building in Seyda NeenEdit
There is a bedroll in the basement/kitchen area of the Census and Excise Office building that is free to use without sanction and that is particularly useful for new characters (in fact, I would think that this is probably what the game intends). Storage is limited to five sacks and two baskets, but when you are initially mainly engaged in collecting crab meat and fungi this should be more than adequate. There is also a lot for a new character to steal (if he/she is so inclined) from the unguarded part of the building (these items are marked in the inventory as stolen from "a shady smuggler", so the player should try to sell them as soon as possible).
Also, as regards to storage in Seyda Neen, it is a fact that the hollow tree stump in the muck pond next to Arrille's Tradehouse has infinite storage capacity - just like, in fact, the hollow tree stump in the City of Cyrodiil in Oblivion (what a coincidence - not). Unlike the Cyrodiil tree stump, however, which I know is 100% safe to store loot in, I am not quite so sure about the safety of the Seyda Neen stump because not only can't you use it without being seen, it is also the place where Fargoth hides his gold. I can only say that while I have indeed used it to store loads of loot, I have always at the same time been more than somewhat apprehensive about doing so.
