Morrowind talk:Buoyant Armiger

spelling discrepancyEdit

The Morrowind: Ghostgate article spells its Bouyant, instead of Buoyant. I checked on TIL and there are multiple search results for each spelling. Is there a policy on this?Temple-Zero 15:36, 16 January 2009 (EST)

Or rather, on looking closer, the 'bouyant' results appear to be typoes in book descriptions, not their text. Only two articles on this site need to be corrected.Temple-Zero 15:56, 16 January 2009 (EST)
The site's spelling policy is that words should be spelled the way they are spelled in the game. And in this case, the game unambiguously uses "Buoyant" -- "Bouyant" is never used anywhere in the Morrowind game data. --NepheleTalk 16:49, 16 January 2009 (EST)

Galdal OmayanEdit

is spelled Galdal Omayn in the Ghostgate article, but is Galdal Omayan here. Which one is correct? As as she is the 'Buoyant Armiger grand marshal', shouldn't she have her own article?

The correct spelling is Omayn, this one is just a typo. Thanks for pointing it out. As for the article, I don't know how much info we have on her, and how useful it could be. It isn't a bad idea though. -- Jplatinum16 22:35, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

Class or occupation?Edit

I noticed that Ulyne Henim, the Buoyant Armiger in the Fighters Guild quest, is not in the List of Named Buoyant Armigers, because that is her occupation, but not her character class. Is there a list of any others like her, who have a different class? --Brf 19:47, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

We don't have one. The only way to make one would be to go through every likely NPC and manually add them... probably to a list on this page. rpeh •TCE 06:58, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
Is there any way to identify them? Ulyne Henim is identified as one by Percius Mercius in the Fighters Guild quest, otherwise how would we know she was one except by her outfit? It reminds me of the Cowboy song... You can tell by my outfit that I'm a cowboy... So get yourself an outfit and you can be a cowboy too.... --Brf 11:36, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
I've just been through the dialogue in case anybody was identified there, but most of the people are dead or already in the list. These ones are dead but probably worth mentioning:
  • Voruse Bethrimo, former Captain of the Armigers, wielded the Crosier of St. Llothis.
  • Galur Rithari, who was cured of vampirism.
  • Mendel Eves, who carried the Cleaver of St. Felms the Bold.
  • Irer Nervion, killed at Falasmaryon. You have to bring back his ancestor ring.
I don't think we can use clothing as a guide either. Volene Llervu wears a chitin cuirass and helm but definitely isn't an Armiger. rpeh •TCE 12:03, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

Related questsEdit

Shouldn't be Morrowind:Slay Dagoth Tanis, Morrowind:Cleaver of St. Felms and Morrowind:Crosier of St. Llothis the Pious also in this list? In all three quests you are searching for a fallen Buoyant Arminger. --Killfetzer (talk) 11:11, 21 October 2012 (GMT)
