Jocien Ancois

Jocien Ancois is a Breton priest and Acolyte of the Imperial Cult held hostage by outcast Ashlanders in the Shashurari Camp, west of Erabenimsun Camp.

During the related quest, you will be tasked by Radd Hard-Heart to rescue Jocien after he was taken captive while trying to teach the Erabenimsun of Imperial culture and virtue. While he was being taken to the Shashurari Camp by his captors, he left behind a trail of pages from his books that you can use to help locate him. After you rescue him and complete the quest, Jocien disappears from the game.

He wears an expensive robe and shoes. Likely to prevent his escape, his captors also equipped him with left and right slave's bracers. He carries all four volumes of Brief History of the Empire. Aside from his natural bonus and resistance to magicka, and his ability to shield himself for short periods, he knows the spells Greater Frostball, Dispel, Rapid Regenerate, Stamina, Great Resist Shock, Magickguard, Greater Resist Poison, Great Resist Magicka, Great Resist Frost, Great Resist Fire, Great Resist Common Disease, Poet's Whim, Iron Will, Powerwell, Blood Gift, Absorb Willpower, Weak Spelldrinker, Reflect, Strong Levitate, Tinur's Hoptoad, Weary, Crushing Burden Touch, Great Burden of Sin, and Heavy Burden.
