Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Special Duties[edit]

Once you reach the rank of Thrall, you can ask Eno Hlaalu in the Vivec Morag Tong about special duties. The first mission is to contact the Dark Brotherhood, an old offshoot of the Morag Tong and currently deadly enemies. You are to contact them through the Vivec enchanter, Miun-Gei in the Lower Waistworks section of the Foreign Quarter.

A Contact in the Dark Brotherhood[edit]

If you raise Miun-Gei's disposition enough, he'll tell you that his contact is a Khajiit named Tsrazami on the Plaza (you can also find this out by searching Miun-Gei's bedroom downstairs, a letter from Tsrazami is in his chest of drawers secured with a level 80 lock).

At this point, you can return to Eno with the information about the Dark Brotherhood contact, or act on your own initiative and persuade Tsrazami herself to meet with Eno Hlaalu. There is no reward unless you persuade Tsrazami, in which case Eno will give you two Scrolls of Inasi's Mystic Finger and two Scrolls of Invisibility.

Return to Eno with the information about the Dark Brotherhood contact to complete the quest.

  • This quest may be mis-reported in your journal as being a Mages Guild quest.
  • Miun-Gei also has two nice rings in his chest of drawers: Ring of the Five Fingers of Pai and Ring of the Black Hand. The closet and baskets are also worth investigating. The closet has a level 100 lock on it and contains most of his enchanted items.
  • You do not have to talk to Eno to get this quest; you can merely talk to the enchanter about the Dark Brotherhood.
  • Miun-Gei will not talk to you about the Dark Brotherhood unless his disposition is fairly high (above 70). An easy way to do this is to complete the quest The Bad Actor, but any other means will do.

10 Grandmaster Eno Hlaalu believes that Miun-Gei might know how to contact the Dark Brotherhood. He is an Enchanter in the Lower Waistworks of the Foreign Quarter. When I get a name from Miun-Gei, I should report back to the Grandmaster.
50 I spoke with Miun-Gei and asked for contact in the Dark Brotherhood. Miun-Gei told me to speak with Tsrazami, a Khajiit who is also in the Market Canton. I should report her name to the Grandmaster.
60 Miun-Gei told me that he had only one contact in the Dark Brotherhood, Tsrazami, and she is now dead. I should report this to the Grandmaster.
70 I spoke with Tsrazami and she agreed to meet with Eno Hlaalu.
100 ☑Finishes quest Eno Hlaalu thanked me for giving him the name of a contact in the Dark Brotherhood.
