MetundusEdit

I have removed a number of images of random Great War veterans from this page. The imagery was excessive in my opinion, and only tangentially relevant to the war itself. Looking at the history of the page, it seems like these images found their way onto the page due to efforts to include a photo of Metundus on the article. This is fancruft and is not appropriate for a wiki article. —Legoless (talk) 12:34, 31 May 2022 (UTC)

At the time, I added in some veterans of the great war after Fullerton or someone added in an image of Metundus into the main body. It looked bad to me, I didn't remove the image fully from the page, because I knew that it would cause more issues if I did as there is a real UESP editor fan base for it and you are right it is Fancruft if I had my way it would have been removed long ago. So I just added in better representation for the veterans in general. Adding in a better image into the main body at the time. Personally we don't really need those images or Metundus. Metundus is to memey for the article I feel like unless a better more flattering image is taken of the dude from Blades. So removing some of those images, sure that is fine. Lord Naarifin and knowledge of his Daedric worshipEdit

OK, this maybe interesting but lacks data. As Elder Scrolls Legends revealed, Lord Naarifin was, or maybe is, a Vaermina cultist and planned a massive blood sacrifice in Imperial City to open a gate to Oblivion. The former can be hidden theoretically (even if we discount Dremora Rieve guarding Naarifin) but it is harder to hide the latter as it certainly involves common Dominion soldiers. The question is : 1) how much aware Dominion government and soldiers about his blood sacrifice plan? (for reminder, soldiers love to gossip.) 2) how much aware Dominion government and subjects about his Daedra worship? 3) If they know, is daedric worship tolerated for Thalmor higher-ups? For trivia, and Oblivion:Radiant Conversations in late 4th era claims that daedra worship became more prevalent in Summerset Isle. — Unsigned comment by 103.213.128.142 (talk) at 17:07 on 1 July 2023 (UTC)
