Lore talk:Death Blow of Abernanit
FormatEdit
I think the formatting needs to be fixed. In the Skyrim version of the book, this text is arranged as a lyrical poem. The page right now ignores the line breaks (you can tell by the irregular capitalization) and lumps each stanza into paragraphs. I was hoping someone could check the game data to confirm this. I don't remember what this book looked like in Morrowind and Oblivion, though. Minor Edits 11:25, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, you're right. It has had poem-style line breaks in all of the games. --NepheleTalk 11:54, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
- Ah, cool, thanks. The format seemed to be correct until about three years ago, when GuildKnight removed the code for some reason. I don't know why he did that, so I was hesitant to change anything. Minor Edits 12:00, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
Broken notesEdit
Currently, the notes section by Geocrates Varnus that should be present in namespaces other than Online isn't appearing at all. This seems to be due to the recent addition of the Nst template over the old ifeq. The culprit is the span html tags for the notes, which the Nst template apparently can't handle. As a result, the whole section is absent in every namespace. Possible solutions seem to be reverting to the version prior to CyrusBot's changes, removing the note link html, or modifying the template. Not sure which of these is the preferred course of action. 73.152.195.141 10:01, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for catching that. The actual problem is the equals signs, which make the template think there are a whole bunch of parameters when they should actually be displaying as plain text. The parameter names aren't namespace IDs so they get ignored. The solution is to use the = template. I checked and there don't appear to be any other errors of this kind with Nst. —Dillonn241 (talk) 14:17, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
