Lore talk:2920, The Last Year of the First Era

Can this be taken as a literal history?Edit

This was definitely one of the more interesting reads of the ES books, yet it is obviously written in a storytelling style, rather than simply recounting events in chronological order. Can we assume that these dialogs and stories were extrapolated from Tamriel histories/diaries, or that this is an embellished dramatization of events of the past? — Unsigned comment by 209.134.75.234 (talk)

Almost none of the books can be taken as literally true. Some of them are more accurate than others but some books contradict others and everybody agrees that there's no "definitive" history - at least, none that we know about. –RpehTCE 04:51, 29 May 2008 (EDT)
This book series are known to take many liberties when it comes to dramatizations of "true" events. For instance, the portrayal of the night mother is a source of debate, and the circumstances surrounding the death of Reman III and prince Juliec, and the destruction of Mournhold is not truly known either. But it's still great literature :P Jyggorath 16:14, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

Reman DynastyEdit

Links for Emperor Reman III go to a very short note for Reman. I think that it would be better to link Reman III and all other names refering to the Reman Dinasty to this page Reman Dynasty to give those links a bit more sense. I think that the page for the Dynasty was not here when the book was added to the wiki (or at least not on his actual format). Araglad 13:04, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
