Telepe is a small Ayleid ruin found in the Niben Forest of Blackwood, just northwest of the Cyrodilic city of Leyawiin.[1][2]

HistoryEdit

First EraEdit

The Ayleid settlement of Telepe was abandoned at some point after the Alessian Slave Rebellion in 1E 243 and subsequently fell into ruin.[3]

Second EraEdit

Circa 2E 582, Telepe's interior was sealed and the surface ruins were inhabited by minotaurs.[2] That year, the Keywright's Gallery in the Adamantine Tower opened a portal to Telepe due to a string of high-profile murders that had been carried out by the Order of the Waking Flame in their search for the Four Ambitions of Mehrunes Dagon.[4][5]

Third EraEdit

Circa 3E 433, Telepe was occupied by the Black Bow Bandits, a gang led by the Orc Black Brugo. This bandit gang became a menace to County Leyawiin and came to the attention of Count Marius Caro of Leyawiin as a result.[6] Count Caro tasked Mazoga the Orc and the Hero of Kvatch with tracking down and killing Black Brugo. Coincidentally, Mazoga had previously run with Brugo and knew that he ventured to his hideout in Telepe each night to pick up his take of the bandits' ill-gotten gains.[7] The two ambushed Brugo at Telepe when he arrived, and were made Knights-Errant of the Knights of the White Stallion by Count Caro as a reward for their service.[8]
