Mimic Stones are crystals of an orange-to-yellow hue. They were used by craftsmen throughout Tamriel during the Interregnum of the Second Era,[1] often as a substitute for other materials such as goldscale or malachite.[1][2]
They were available for purchase in quantities to suit any budget.[2]

- There is no known connection between Mimic Stones and Mimics, the winged creatures of Valenwood,[3] or Mimic Hist trees of the Black Marsh.[4]
