Chief Maddorfa was a Reachfolk clan leader of the Eagleseer Clan.[1] The exact times of his rule are unknown but as of 2E 582 the Battle of Karthspire Lea he took part in was considered ancient and took place in ages past.[2] During his tenure Eagleseers were feuding with Six-Ford Clan. He led his clan to one of the most known battles between those two clans, the Battle of Karthspire Lea, during which he suffered a mortal wound.[1]
The Battle of Karthspire Lea was one of the bloodiest skirmishes in the conflict, so much so that the blood that stained the area looked black from afar. Unlike most battles in Reach history, this battle had no clear victory, and while most forces yield when defeat is nigh, both clans did not waver and fought like they intended to die. Maddorfa was mortally wounded early in the battle from a spear through the leg. He insisted that his clan folk bind him to a nearby pillar to prop him up and continue to fight. Few people survived the battle and while Maddorfa's exact fate is unknown,[1] his piece of the Lover's Coil, the artifact related to the beginning of the feud between the clans was buried at his post.[3]
