Jodoro is a powerful Earth Indrik and a spirit of lost nature who inhabited Systres Archipelago. He was one of the three spirits of lost nature who were rehabilitated and taken care of by the Druids of the Stonelore Circle in the Path of the Salt Wind within their sacred site of Earthen Root Enclave.[1][2]

HistoryEdit

In the past, Jodoro inhabited one of the forests in the Systres Archipelago. When his home was decimated by House Mornard logging efforts he was relocated to the Earthen Root Enclave. In this area, he seemed most at home in the Path of the Salt Wind. Druids safeguarded the location and placed the wards upon Jodoro for their own safety. Despite the efforts of the Druids, Jodoro remained miserable. He behaved as if his hide was infested with wood worms and did not trust the Druids. Jodoro was aggressive and tried to impale every druid who met with him, even though the only people allowed to visit the Indrik were experienced druids of the Stonelore Circle, who were trained to rehabilitate spirits of lost nature. Despite his aggression the druids were more hopeful for Jodoro's recovery than the other two spirits they tended to. They expressed the belief that his forests may regrow if given enough time, and that their efforts to rehabilitate him may become unnecessary due to nature's inherent ability to thrive in most situations. Despite that, they advised caution for everyone walking the Path of the Salt Wind.[1]

In 2E 582 the Earthen Root Enclave was attacked by the Druids of the Firesong Circle. A group of the Undaunted helped the Stonelore Circle defend the sacred site. It is unknown whether they sought to slay Jodoro to obtain the boon associated with his hide, or left the spirit to his own devices.[2][3]
