Green Hall is a forest region situated in the northeast of the region of Grahtwood, within the province of Valenwood. Green Hall is the overall center of Grahtwood, as the Graht-oak cities of Elden Root and Cormount are found anchored at each side of the region, both of which have extensive roles in the province's history. The main road runs between Elden Root, located in the dead-center of Grahtwood, to the trading settlement of Cormount, found on the border near the region of Reaper's March. The road also diverges west towards the Tarlain Heights, where it heads to the rest of Valenwood. Minor townships such as Karthdar are found between Cormount and Elden Root. It also goes south into the Long Coast. Beyond the road is open-land, primarily occupied by Bandits and other criminals. The ruins of the Reliquary of Stars and Ossuary of Telacar are found in the area.[1]

In the mid-Second Era, the Tower of Vastarie in Green Hall served as a center of magical learning, where the lich Vastarie taught her particular brand of necromancy to a number of apprentices. Vastarie disappeared circa 2E 485, when she was lured into the lost Ayleid ruins of Laeloria beneath her tower and became trapped within by the forces of Molag Bal.[2][3]

During the Imperial Simulacrum in the late Third Era, the village of Green Hall was present in the area, being under the rule of Lady Sinia. It had a rivalry with Stonesquare.[4] It was neighbored by several settlements, including Eagle Vale in the southeast, Southpoint in the southwest, and Wasten Brukbrook in the north.[5]
