Puzzles are single-player content involving being given a set selection of cards in the board and in your hand, and having to either defeat your opponent that turn, or survive until your next turn. Most have one set solution, meaning that they rely on strategy and logic for completion.
With Houses of Morrowind, three puzzle sets were released, and players received the Caius' Training set for free, while Naryu's Training and Divayth Fyr's Trials cost 1500 Gold or USD $9.99 / €9.99 each. These puzzle sets were all named for a character associated with Morrowind, and featured a number of puzzles. A final puzzle set, Skooma Cat's Playthings was released in October 2019, for the same price.
In addition to the puzzle packs, similar puzzle challenges make up a few of the missions in the Return to Clockwork City story.
