Disconnected IslandEdit

What's the island in it's own circle in the top-left corner? --Resonance Gamer (talk) 06:50, 14 March 2014 (GMT)

That would be Coldharbour. Jeancey (talk) 07:10, 14 March 2014 (GMT)
...which is not even in Mundus. On that note, combined with the fact that it only otherwise shows Tamriel, and at best is unlikely to ever show more than Nirn, the usage of this map on the Lore:Mundus page is inaccurate in my opinion. --Enodoc (talk) 09:34, 14 March 2014 (GMT)
I believe the circle around Nirn is supposed to be Mundus. The circle around Coldharbour is to indicate it is a separate realm. That's why there are two circles rather than just one, and it lets them add in extra places, such as Akavir or Thras later on. Jeancey (talk) 09:39, 14 March 2014 (GMT)
Ah, good shout. For shizzles, I have transcribed the Daedric in the circles. The main circle says: THE EMPIRE OF TAMRIEL ENCOMPASSES THE NINE IMPERIAL PROVINCES SKYRIM HIGH ROCK HAMMERFELL SUMMERSET ISLE VALENWOOD ELSWEYR BLACK MARSH MORROWIND AND THE ANCIENT IMPERIAL PROVINCE CYRODIIL. The Coldharbour circle says: THE DREAD OBLIVION REALM OF MOLAG BAL, COLDHARBOUR. --Enodoc (talk) 10:33, 14 March 2014 (GMT)
What is the source of calling this map "Mundus"? While there is not much material on the term, it does not seem to encompass Oblivion. So this map shows a part of Nirn and a part of Oblivion, but not really Mundus (the mortal plane). --Alfwyn (talk) 12:50, 14 March 2014 (GMT)
That's what I thought, too. Not really Mundus. The name however comes from the image's file name in the data files, as well as from the name given to the map in-game. --Enodoc (talk) 13:15, 14 March 2014 (GMT)

() Well, they changed the name to "Oblivion" in-game, I renamed the image accordingly. --Alfwyn (talk) 17:27, 8 April 2014 (GMT)

Ah great, now it's different but still inaccurate :P Enodoc (talk) 17:30, 8 April 2014 (GMT)
Well, if we believe Mankar Camoran, Tamriel (Dawn's Beauty) was the Oblivion plane of Lorkhan. Or we could picture Oblivion as sphere, with Nirn in the middle. In that case the name wouldn't be that unreasonable. --Alfwyn (talk) 17:40, 8 April 2014 (GMT)
