Tovisa

Tovisa is a Dark Elf member of the Ebonheart Pact. She will approach you on the outskirts of Northwind Mine to ask for help in investigating the Reachmen activity there.

After giving you a disguise, Tovisa will allow herself to be taken prisoner while you search for clues. Upon your return, it's revealed that she was taken into the mine, where the Hagravens sucked out her eyeballs. Blinded, she will return to Shor's Stone after you've dealt with the Hagravens.

Arriving at Shor's Stone during Beneath the Stone, she will be standing near Vigrod Wraithbane, next to Centurion Gjakil:

"Hero, huh? Good luck in the mines. The Reach [sic] are bloody-minded bastards."

Storming the HallEdit

Tovisa will be encountered if you follow Vigrod:

Vigrod Wraithbane: "Tovisa! What news?"

Tovisa: "The Reachmen take their prisoners to Northwind Mine. That settlement has been lost to the tribes."

Vigrod Wraithbane: "As always, you're my eyes and ears. Head back there. I'll send you relief as soon as we've secured the Hall."

Tovisa: "The Three watch your steps."

Scouting the MineEdit

She beckons to you as you approach Northwind Mine.

Tovisa: "Quickly, follow me. This place is crawling with Reachmen!"

Tovisa: "Hurry, before they spot us!"

Tovisa: "I can't see anything from here. I need to get inside their camp."

Speak with her.

"We've got trouble here. The Reachmen have taken over the Northwind Mine up ahead."

Why?

"That's what I need to find out. We have to get into their camp. This isn't the same tribe we saw in Shor's Stone. No telling what they're doing.
Lots of corpses coming out of the mine. That can't be good."

What's your plan?

"I'll get myself captured, see what the prisoners know. You look for clues in the camp. Take this uniform. Put it on and you should be able to move around camp unmolested."

Sounds like fun.

After starting the quest, she changes clothes and runs straight into the heart of the camp.

Tovisa: "Time to get myself captured. Do your part!"

After investigating the area, you need to tell Tovisa about the presence of hagravens in the area.

"This place is a slaughterhouse! What did you find?"

The Reachmen cut out prisoners' eyes and feed them to Hagravens.

"I must tell Vigrod. You infiltrate the mine. Heiress Alona has the only key to the mine door. I tried to steal it but could only get a key to her sanctum, just to the south. Get in there, find out what you can, and grab that mine door key."

I'm on it.

Speaking with her again before heading into the sanctum:

"You need to get into the mine and shut down whatever they're doing in there. And I need to get out of here."

Tovisa will be dragged into the mine with all of the prisoners except for Gnarled-Root while you're in Alona's Sanctum. You'll find her inside the first chamber with no eyes. She is accompanied by Porath.

Tovisa, blinded

"Who are you? Don't touch me!"

Tovisa! What have they done to you?

"No, please, get away! Who—it's you. Don't look at me. Don't touch me. The bastards, the Hagravens, they took my eyes! Sucked them out of my skull! I can't … what they did to me!
Make them pay—kill them, rip their eyes out!"

You'll have your revenge, Tovisa!

"I never had a chance. They drugged us. Then the Hagraven came. Its breath on my face! It sucked out my eyes. I'll never see again."

If you exit the conversation and re-enter it before turning the quest in, you'll respond differently.

I'll avenge you!

Breaking the CovenEdit

Continue your conversation from the previous quest.

"Thank you for finding me. They were going to kill me too."

I need to get you out of here.

"Forget it. Kill those Hagravens, make them pay for what they've done!"

Where are they?

"There are three sisters, all nearby. Kill the twins first. Lure Dyta out with Reachman eyes. Kill Jadwiga's attendants and she'll attack. Then use the twins' heads to bring out the matriarch."

I'll see to it.

Speaking with her again:

"To get to the matriarch, enrage her with the heads of her sisters."

After killing Matriarch Kasmira, Tovisa and Porath will appear in her chamber.

"That's the end of the coven, but we still need to get out of here."

Agreed. Let's go.

"Go slowly. I'll try to follow, but I can't see or fight."

I'll get you out of here.

Speaking with her again before leaving the mine:

"Please, lead me out of here."

You will end the quest by speaking to her outside the mine.

"I need healing. Thank you for everything. I'll see you in Shor's Stone."

Are you going to be all right?

"I'll never regain my eyesight, but I'll live. Porath will see me back to Shor's Stone. Come see me, if you ever return."

After completing the quest she can be found in Shor's Stone.

"Thanks for coming to visit. I'll never be the same, but I have to confess, I feel like I see more without sight than I did with it."

NotesEdit

Strangely, Tovisa used to be wearing a full set of Barbaric gear once she returned to Shor's Stone.
