"Your actions will influence what is to come"
An Orc named Magula has seen visions at three shrines around the island. I should visit these shrines and see the visions.

Quick WalkthroughEdit

  1. Speak to Magula.
  2. Go to the three shrines.
  3. Talk to Magula.

Detailed WalkthroughEdit

While wandering around Betnikh, you may find an Orc seeress at any of three shrines. Speak to her to pick up the quest.

"I meet you at last. I saw you defeat the scheming Redguard who rules Stros M'Kai. I see great events swirling about you."
How?
"Visions. This is one of three shrines around Betnikh that give glimpses of events that affect many lives. They affect you in particular.
Would you like to see them yourself?"
Yes.
"Burn these herbs at each shrine. You will receive a vision of things to come.
I will be in my longhouse, should you have questions."

At each shrine, interact with the brazier to burn the Bundle of Herbs. A ball of light will float to the back of the shrine and reveal a vision. You can get the visions in any order. Once you have visited all three shrines and seen the visions, return to Magula back in the longhouse just outside of Stonetooth Fortress for your reward.

Southern ShrineEdit

The vision of the Knight and the Duchess

This shrine is on an island just east of the Carved Hills Wayshrine (map). It foreshadows the assassination of Duchess Lakana in the Stormhaven storyline.

The Knight: "I know what you're planning, your Grace."
The Duchess: "What are you doing here? Leave my room at once!"
The Knight: "I won't allow Alcaire to fall into Redguard hands."
The Duchess: "Alcaire in Redguard hands? Tears of Zeht! You've gone mad!"
The Knight: "I'm sorry, but this is the only way."
The Duchess: "No! Please!"
He stabs her.

Western ShrineEdit

The vision of the noble and the werewolves

This shrine is at the end of a dead-end path near Garnikh's camp (map). It foreshadows Duke Sebastien's fate in the Glenumbra storyline.

A nobleman is kneeling in front of a werewolf.
General Faolchu: "Now you are one of us."
The noble transforms into a werewolf
General Faolchu: "Go. Spread our gift."
The newly-transformed nobleman runs off.

Northern ShrineEdit

The vision of Captain Kaleen and Lambur

This shrine is north of the Grimfield Wayshrine near the ruins of Eyearata (map). It foreshadows the confrontation between Captain Kaleen and Lambur at the end of the Betnikh storyline.

Lambur: "Strange that such a small thing can cause so much terror. It must be destroyed!"
Captain Kaleen: "Hold on. Let's think about this."
Lambur: "What's to think about? It killed hundreds of Orcs!"
Captain Kaleen: "The cultists did that. In the right hands, this could defend the Covenant against invaders."
Lambur: "I'm not giving that thing to the people who leveled Orsinium!"

NotesEdit

  • Magula can initially be found at all three shrines and you can start the quest from any of them and activate the shrines in any order.
  • The visions you receive are all scenes that you will come across as you play through the Covenant questline.

Notes
* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
