Help rescue captured Pact soldiers.
A renegade clan of Nords known as the Stormfists launched a surprise attack against Fort Morvunskar.

Quick WalkthroughEdit

  1. Rescue four Morvunskar soldiers.
  2. Defeat Warlord Halskar.
  3. Search the strongbox.
  4. Talk to the ghostly woman.
  5. Talk to Lieutenant Koruni.

Detailed WalkthroughEdit

According to Captain Hamar, the Stormfists ambushed the fort and forced the soldiers to retreat. He says that if you could liberate the captured soldiers, then you could assist Lieutenant Koruni to retake the barracks. Captain Hamar stays behind to await reinforcements while you go to free the four soldiers.

The soldiers to be rescued are spread out around the fort (marked on your map), which is filled with various Stormfist sympathisers (it is possible to sneak past many of them if you wish). There is a soldier in the tower on the right half of the fort, and soldiers being held captive in Stormfist camps scattered across the premises. When you rescue a soldier you tell them to meet Lieutenant Koruni at the barracks or if you have the Persuasion Perk, you can ask the first soldier you rescue to help you "kill traitorous Nords".

After you free the soldiers, go to the barracks at the top of the hill to talk to Lieutenant Koruni. She thanks you for your help and asks you to follow her inside to defeat Warlord Halskar. Inside the barracks there is the sound of fighting. The way to the second-floor via the main stairs is barred. You must fight your way around the ground-floor to find the step-ladder up to second-floor.

Reaching the second-floor you fight your way around until you locate Warlord Halskar, who standing in front of a table upon which is a strongbox. After defeating Warlord Halskar you notice a Strongbox on a table nearby. After looting it, a spectral woman appears and introduces herself as Queen Nurnhilde. She wants you to return the relics you found in the strongbox to the crypt below the fort.

After speaking to Queen Nurnhilde and agreeing to return the relics, you need to speak to Lieutenant Koruni on the ground floor about what transpired upstairs.
