Aedric Spear is one of three class skill lines available to Templar characters. Skills in this line focus on melee weapon attacks.

The Aedric Spear skill line is immediately available to all Templars, and is leveled up by earning experience while Aedric Spear skills are slotted. Skills include:

Ultimate AbilitiesEdit

These abilities must be activated manually, for a cost of Ultimate.

    Everlasting Sweep Deals Physical Damage and increases the duration, which further increases for each enemy hit.

Swing your Aedric spear around with holy vengeance, dealing [6351 / 6421 / 6491 / 6560] Physical Damage to all nearby enemies and an additional 3176 Physical Damage every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. The duration is extended by 2 seconds for each enemy hit.
   Crescent Sweep Deals additional damage to enemies in front of you.
Swing your Aedric spear around with holy vengeance, dealing [6351 / 6421 / 6491 / 6560] Magic Damage to all nearby enemies and an additional 3176 Magic Damage every 2 seconds for 6 seconds. Enemies in your path will be hit for 60% more damage.

Each strike reduces the Movement Speed of the closest enemy by 40% for 0.5 seconds.
     Biting Jabs Converts into a Stamina ability and deals Physical Damage. Grants you Major Brutality and Sorcery after casting and increases the damage done of the area of effect.
Cost: 2295 Stamina.
Launch a relentless assault, striking enemies in front of you three times with your Aedric spear. The spear deals [2435 / 2460 / 2488 / 2514] Physical Damage to the closest enemy and [1589 / 1606 / 1624 / 1640] Physical Damage to all other enemies. Each strike reduces the Movement Speed of the closest enemy by 40% for 0.5 seconds. Activating this ability grants you Major Brutality and Major Sorcery, increasing your Weapon and Spell Damage by 20% for 10 seconds.
   Puncturing Sweep You heal for a percentage of the damage done.
Launch a relentless assault, striking enemies in front of you three times with your Aedric spear. The spear deals [2435 / 2460 / 2488 / 2514] Magic Damage to the closest enemy and [1268 / 1282 / 1296 / 1310] Magic Damage to all other enemies. Each strike reduces the Movement Speed of the closest enemy by 40% for 0.5 seconds. You heal for 33% of the damage done with this ability.
   Piercing Javelin 4 Instant Enemy 22 meters 3780 Magicka
Hurl your spear at an enemy with godlike strength, dealing [3688 / 3728 / 3768 / 3809] Magic Damage and knocking them back 8 meters. This ability ignores the enemy's Resistances and cannot be blocked.
     Aurora Javelin Deals additional damage based on the distance the spear travels.
Hurl your spear at an enemy with godlike strength, dealing [3811 / 3853 / 3895 / 3936] Magic Damage and knocking them back 8 meters. This ability ignores the enemy's Resistances and cannot be blocked. The spear deals an additional 2% damage for every 1 meter you are away from the target, up to a maximum of 40%.
   Binding Javelin Converts into a Stamina ability and deals Physical Damage. Stuns the enemy for longer instead of knocking back.
Cost: 3213 Stamina.
Hurl your spear at an enemy with godlike strength, dealing 3811 Physical Damage and stunning them for [2.5 / 3 / 3.5 / 4] seconds. This ability ignores the enemy's Resistances and cannot be blocked.
   Focused Charge 20 Instant Enemy 22 meters 3510 Magicka
Charge with your divine lance to impale an enemy, dealing [3688 / 3728 / 3768 / 3809] Magic Damage and gaining Major Protection for 4 seconds, reducing your damage taken by 10%. If the enemy hit is casting, they are interrupted, set Off Balance, and stunned for 3 seconds.
     Explosive Charge Deals increased damage and interrupts all enemies near the point of impact. Increases duration of Major Protection.
Area: 6 meters.
Charge with your divine lance to impale all enemies in the area, dealing [4765 / 4816 / 4869 / 4921] Magic Damage and gaining Major Protection for 10 seconds, reducing your damage taken by 10%. Any enemy hit that is casting is interrupted, set Off Balance, and stunned for 3 seconds.
   Toppling Charge Always stuns the enemy and sets them Off Balance, regardless if they are casting.
Charge with your divine lance to impale an enemy, dealing [3811 / 3853 / 3895 / 3936] Magic Damage and gaining Major Protection for 4 seconds, reducing your damage taken by 10%. Enemies hit are stunned for 3 seconds, set Off Balance, and if they were casting, they are interrupted.
   Spear Shards 30 Instant Ground 28 meters 8 meters 10 seconds 2970 Magicka
Send your spear into the heavens to bring down a shower of divine wrath, dealing [4610 / 4660 / 4711 / 4761] Magic Damage to enemies in the area and an additional [358 / 361 / 365 / 369] Magic Damage every 1 second for 10 seconds. An ally near the spear can activate the     Blessed Shards synergy, restoring 3960 Magicka or Stamina, whichever maximum is higher.
     Luminous Shards The synergy grants both Magicka and Stamina instead of whichever is lowest. Reduces cost as the ability ranks up.
Cost: [2970 / 2880 / 2790 / 2700] Magicka.
Send your spear into the heavens to bring down a shower of divine wrath, dealing 4765 Magic Damage to enemies in the area and an additional 371 Magic Damage every 1 second for 10 seconds. An ally near the spear can activate the     Holy Shards synergy, which restores 3960 Magicka and Stamina.
   Blazing Spear Increases the damage dealt.
Send your spear into the heavens to bring down a shower of divine wrath, dealing [6192 / 6260 / 6328 / 6395] Magic Damage to enemies in the area and an additional [481 / 485 / 490 / 496] Magic Damage every 1 second for 10 seconds. An ally near the spear can activate the     Blessed Shards synergy, restoring 3960 Magicka or Stamina, whichever maximum is higher.
   Sun Shield 42 Instant Area 5 meters 6 seconds 4320 Magicka
Surround yourself with solar rays, granting a damage shield that absorbs up to 4800 damage for 6 seconds. This portion of the ability scales off your Max Health. Nearby enemies take [4610 / 4660 / 4711 / 4761] Magic Damage when the shield is activated, and each enemy hit increases the shield's strength by 4%.
     Radiant Ward Has reduced cost, and the shield is strengthened further for each enemy hit.
Cost: 4050 Magicka.
Surround yourself with solar rays, granting a damage shield that absorbs up to 4800 damage for 6 seconds. This portion of the ability scales off your Max Health. Nearby enemies take 4765 Magic Damage when the shield is activated, and each enemy hit increases the shield's strength by [17 / 18 / 19 / 20]%.
   Blazing Shield No longer deals damage to enemies on activation, instead deals damage when shield expires based on the amount it absorbed, and increases the radius.
Radius: 8 meters.
Surround yourself with solar rays, granting a damage shield that absorbs up to 4800 damage for 6 seconds. This portion of the ability scales off your Max Health. Each nearby enemy increases the shield's strength by 4% when the shield is activated. When the shield expires it explodes outward, dealing [21 / 24 / 27 / 30]% of all damage absorbed as Magic Damage to nearby enemies.

Notes

  • The numbers displayed here are the base values for the skills. Magicka/Stamina Cost is based on a character of Level 50  160. Damage values are based on Max Magicka/Stamina 12000, Max Health 16000, and Weapon/Spell Damage 1000. The actual numbers you see in the game may depend on a variety of factors, including skill line rank, your equipped weapons and armor, other skills, enchantments, etc. As such, they should only be used as a comparative reference.

18    (WITH AN AEDRIC SPEAR ABILITY SLOTTED) Increases your Critical Damage by 10%. Increases your damage done to blocking targets by 10%.
   Spear Wall 14    (WHEN ACTIVATING AN AEDRIC SPEAR ABILITY) Gain Minor Protection for 3 seconds, reducing damage taken by 5%.
27    (WHEN ACTIVATING AN AEDRIC SPEAR ABILITY) Gain Minor Protection for 6 seconds, reducing damage taken by 5%.
   Burning Light 22    When you deal damage you generate a stack of Burning Light for 3 seconds. After reaching 4 stacks, you deal 1229 Magic Damage to your target. This effect can stack once every half second and scales off your highest offensive stats.
36    When you deal damage you generate a stack of Burning Light for 3 seconds. After reaching 4 stacks, you deal 2458 Magic Damage to your target. This effect can stack once every half second and scales off your highest offensive stats.
   Balanced Warrior 39    Increases your Weapon and Spell Damage by 3% and Physical and Spell Resistance by 660.
50    Increases your Weapon and Spell Damage by 6% and Physical and Spell Resistance by 1320.
