Detailed WalkthroughEdit

Use the Spiritcatcher on the Salt Catcher Spirits

Outside the entrance of Bahraha's Gloom, you will see an injured Nord. If you speak to him, he will be frantic:

"I can't ... I can't go back in there. I don't care about the reward or the city. I just can't go back in there!
I saw those horrors and it's even worse than the priest said! Hew's Bane is doomed! Doomed!"
That's a pretty grim view of things.
"Grim? It's worse than that. It's catastrophic!
Prince Hew buried his secret shame in there, but now it's trying to get out and destroy us all! His mad uncle, Magnifico Bahraha the necromancer, damn his eyes! This is all his fault."
Is there something going on in that old tomb?
"The priest told me how Prince Hew locked his uncle and the necromancers inside the royal tomb. But pirates recently broke in and damaged the seal that kept the cultists from leaving.
I was supposed to fix things, but I'm no match for those horrors!"
I can help. Let me know what I can do.
"According to the priest, if the great seal fails, the necromancers will be free to wander the countryside. And if that happens, we'll all be in trouble!"

The Great Seal, restored

With Spiritcatcher at hand, you have to absorb Salt Catcher Spirits, which are captured specters surrounded by Bleak Veil mobs. As long as you don't catch their attention, you do not have to fight them— all you need to do is absorb the spirit using the amulet. Do this three times to fully charge it.

Once you've fully charged the amulet, head into the large, southern chamber of the delve: behind Bahraha's throne, you will see the great seal. You may have to fight the Lich and his minion if you catch the latter's gaze, but you can sneak around to get to the seal.

Talk with Sabileh

Once you use Spiritcatcher on the seal, it will alight in a fiery glow. With the seal restored, head to Abah's Landing and meet Sabileh, who is at her rooftop office west of the Fighters Guild.

"I can feel the fractures sealing. You did it, didn't you? The tomb is once more secure?"
I charged the amulet and used its energy to repair the great seal.
"Excellent! I just hope no other pirate crews are stupid enough to try to loot the old tomb.
I'm glad to have Spiritcatcher back, but I won't see you leave empty handed. Take this as a token of my gratitude for what you have done."

She will give you standard Gold as a reward.

NotesEdit

  • The Quest Items icon for Spiritcatcher depicts a crystal ball rather than an amulet like it is described as.
  • Using the block input while channeling the spirits cancels the animation early but still counts the spirit as obtained towards completion of the objective.
    • The same cannot be done when activating the seal.
  • Reactivating the seal has no effect on any of the enemies found inside the delve.
