A runestone remains clutched in his hand...
While in the Goblin camp, I found a Nord corpse clutching a runestone that bears the name "Hodmar Iron-Kettle."

Quick WalkthroughEdit

  1. Examine Hodmar's body.
  2. Deliver the runestone to Eydvi Iron-Kettle.

Detailed WalkthroughEdit

Hodmar's corpse can be found on a plateau near Mud Tree Village, accessible by entering the local mine through its northern entrance and leaving through its western exit. Inspect the corpse:

<This Nord was recently killed. His belongings are in disarray, but a runestone remains clutched in his hand.>
<Examine the runestone.>
<A number of Nord runes are carved on one side of the stone, with the name "Hodmar Iron-Kettle" on the other. Hodmar may be related to Eydvi Iron-Kettle.>
I should take this to Eydvi Iron-Kettle in Mud Tree Village.

Take the runestone to Eydvi Iron-Kettle. You're likely to have started this quest while already working on Schism, and after rescuing her during that quest, so you should indeed find her in Mud Tree Village. Speak to her to complete the quest:

"Thank you for getting me out of that mine. My husband and I are indebted to you.
Once things calm down, I'll get you that mead I promised. And it'll be good stuff from Hodmar's private stock, assuming the Goblins haven't stolen it."
I found this runestone in the Goblin camp, in the hand of a dead Nord.
"By the Eight, no! My beloved Hodmar! He was so strong, so tough. I thought he made it out alive.
By Mara, I'll kill those Goblins, one and all!"
