Books talk:The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Prima Official Game Guide

PriceEdit

Should this article include the price of these books?Skylar1146 22:17, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

The oblivion one doesn't. But I see no harm in the RRP being added. The Silencer has spokenTalk 22:22, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
In what currency, though? Kitkat TalkContribE-mail 22:24, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
US dollars > The Oblivion:Official Plug-ins page and all others like it have US even though the site is Canadian. The Silencer has spokenTalk 22:27, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
I don't see the need. Most of the TES books are not commercially available, and the price probably varies. —Legoless (talk) 20:56, 19 September 2012 (GMT)

Revised and Expanded EditionEdit

This has been marked as a question that needs to be answered.

In my opinion it would be worth noting briefly whether the "Revised and Expanded" edition actually has any substantial "revisions" or whether it's just an "expansion". What I mean is, is this guide exactly the same as the first one, with Dawnguard and Hearthfire simply added on; or has the original content been changed as well? --Enodoc (talk) 18:37, 24 October 2012 (GMT)

Changes may have been made, but the blurb says nothing. I doubt the revisions made would be very substantial. I've marked this as a good question, since I can't imagine it will get an answer quickly. —Legoless (talk) 18:42, 24 October 2012 (GMT)
I can't speak to the paperback version, but I own the "Second Edition" hardcover pictured underneath the revised and expanded edition and I can unequivocally state that it contains no information on the expansions. No Dawnguard, Hearthfire, or Dragonborn. I don't want people confused by the pictures into associating the hardback with the section heading.MrC (talk) 23:46, 6 January 2014 (GMT)

() Just adding to this, for the sake of completion, that differences between Rev/Exp and Legendary, and between Legendary and Special, should also be noted, if possible. --Enodoc (talk) 09:45, 5 September 2016 (UTC)

The Elder Scrolls V:Skyrim Remaster Edition: Prima Offical Game Guide?Edit

I noticed on the UK Amazon site that there is an edition for the upcoming remaster of Skyrim. Is it worth mentioning in the article? I don't think it'll be anything different in terms of content as there is nothing being added to the game and seems to be just an edition for it. I feel that it may not even require an entire new section in the article and could just go under the first section. E.g. It is also available for the The Elder Scrolls V:Skyrim:Special Edition that was released in 2016 on PS4,X1 and PC --Thelastdovah (talk) 04:06, 5 September 2016 (UTC)

Looks like a new edition to me, so it needs a separate section. —Legoless (talk) 04:18, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
