Borgunna visiting the outdoor market in Leyawiin

Borgunna is a Nord herald who lives in Leyawiin. She works for the Valerius family as a servant.

She wakes up at 6am every morning, and heads downstairs to prepare breakfast for the family. At 8am, she goes shopping at the outdoor market; otherwise she'll remain at home. She visits Colovian Traders at noon for two hours to shop, then makes another trip to outdoor market for a few hours. She returns home at 5pm to start getting ready for dinner; at 8pm, she sits down to eat herself, then goes to bed at 11pm.

She wears a plaid shirt, tan linen skirt, quilted shoes, a brass pearl ring, and a jade necklace; she has an orange cake, a moderate amount of gold, and a house key.

The Valerius house is located in the western part of the city, along the main street just south of the outdoor market. The front door opens into a large living room. One wall holds a fireplace flanked by tall bookcases; two comfortable chairs and an end table are placed below a set of stairs, and a couch sits nearby. A doorway leads to the dining room, which is dominated by a long table and four chairs. Shelves with silver dishes and food, as well as a wine rack, sit against the walls.

A door halfway up the stairs leads to the servants' quarters, a single large room with a table and two benches, a pair of cupboards for food and drink, an armoire for clothing, and three single beds.

The upper floor is two bedrooms with a central hallway. The room to the left belongs to the younger daughter, Emily, though her mother also sleeps here; it has a double bed, armoire, dressing table, dresser, and a bench below the window. The other room belongs to Manius; it has another double bed, armoire, dresser, two chairs, a bookcase, and a writing desk in the corner, along with a loveseat below the window.

As one of the servants, she was close with Emily Valerius; she is a valuable source of information and can give you Emily's ring, but her knowledge doesn't come for free: in exchange, she wants you to break her lover out of jail and help him escape the city (see Foolish Youth).
