Oblivion
The extra-dimensional plane which is home to the daedra and the undead. Chapter 4 in the main Elder Scrolls series. Oblivion is a place composed of many lands, thus the many names for which Oblivion is synonymous: Coldharbour, Quagmire, Moonshadow, and others. It may be supposed that each land of Oblivion is ruled by one prince. The princes whose name appears over and over (though this is not a sure test of their authenticity, to be sure) are the aforementioned Sanguine, Boethiah, Molag Bal, Sheogorath, and Azura, Mephala, Clavicus Vil, Vaernima, Malacath, Hoermius (or Hermaeus or Hormaius, there is no consistant spelling) Mora, Namira, Jyggalag, Nocturnal, Mehrunes Dagon, and Peryite.
Ohmes
Kahjiit word for the most common form of their species, the 'man-faced'. This form is the most common form of Khajiit seen outside of the province of Elsweyr.
Old Way of Reckoning
The old way of reckoning is the form of date keeping before the standards of ERAs was put into place. Simply put, year 1637 in the old way of reckoning corresponds to the around first year of the first era (1E 1). The system of using eras was not universally used in Tamriel until approximately the end of the first era.
Othroktide
A modern local holiday of High Rock held on the 5th of Suns Dawn is held in honor of the first and most illustrious Baron of Dwynnen.
