Skyrim talk:Fortify Conjuration

While the page is perfectly clear about the spell cost decreasing, it may be helpful to point out that the skill itself, as it appears in the skills sub-menu, does not increase (turn green) as a result of Fortify Conjuration as it does for the fortification of some other skills. This reduced spell cost benefit seems to be applied to all skills that burn magicka, rather than applying the fortification benefit directly to the skill per se. My confusion arose for a character at Conjuration skill level 100 when he donned a Fortify Conjuration 15% armor in order to conjure a Thrall. It didn't work and there was no green on the skills menu. However, I later confirmed that the armor actually reduced the cost as advertised by looking at the difference in spell costs, but 15% just wasn't enough without the Master perk. So I appended:

"In enchantments, Fortify Conjuration decreases the cost of Conjuration spells, and the use cost of Conjuration based enchantments. It does not increase the skill level for Conjuration which appears in the skills sub-menu."

10 Year Anniversary additions have an enemy high level conjurer or mage wearing enchanted gear that can be disenchanted for longer duration and limited function additional summoned entitiesEdit

At about level 76 Xbox One Skyrim SE patch upgraded to 10 Year Anniversary edition, one of the powerful enemy magic users at one of the forts in the North Eastern part of the map was wearing a skull mask/hood combination with an enchanted dark colored ornately decorated or trimmed conjuration robe.

Reading the enchanted equipment's description I found it to have been not available in prior editions of Skyrim, so I disenchanted it to learn the enchantment for crafting purposes.

Using a buffed enchantment potion, I was able to only elevate greatly the boost the duration of summoned creatures, etc. So now, I have an armor that increases the average duration from regular 60 or 120 seconds to 13 hours or so.

13 x 3600 / 120 seconds = 390x boost

390x boost / 0.05 = approximately 7800x = 780,000% fortify enchanting potion?

Unfortunately, I found that me already having the conjuration tree perk of level 100 Twin Souls that the supposed extra conjuration entity or creature permitted did absolutely NOTHING for me when I was hoping to have 3 summoned creatures running around helping me instead of only 2, but, alas, this was NOT to be the case. Since that time, I have leveled up to be at middle 90s level and purchased a few more master level conjuration spells.

The armor that I had enchanted

1. boosts the duration of summoned creatures, and
2. reduces the conjuration magicka costs to zero, but
3. have an additional summoned creature does not seem to function on top of Twin Souls perk that I have big BUT, I'm always conjuring fairly powerful summoned creatures and have yet to try it on lower than Expert level conjuration spells and I do not know if you can mix Master, Apprentice, and Novice creature summoning--likely NOT.

More research is needed by someone willing to dink around trying a bunch of things and documenting nicely what is discovered.

Since the original conjuration robe that I looted from the dead body of the powerful mage or conjurer enemy was destroyed and my memory of events is not the greatest, I cannot recall the name of the robe that had this different learnable enchantment.

However, I can say the name of the new enchantment is called Empower Necromancy "Conjuration spells last 5% longer. Increases summon limit by 1 for lesser conjured or reanimated undead." 216.58.27.151 10:56, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
