ThanksEdit

Thank you, whoever added the levels this Shout works on. It's a real shame, though- this *was* my favorite Shout up until it stopped working. Now I usually go with Frost Breath or Project Force lvl. 3, which is capable of knocking enemies off cliffs and killing them in one of the most amusing ways possible :-D Maybe a patch or DLC will strengthen this Shout so lvl. 3 works on anyone but bosses, but I'm not holding my breath. 209.66.120.3 19:16, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

Does anyone know whether this shout ceases to work when used by enemies against you once you surpass the level thresholds. I.e., does a powerful enemy that attempts to use the disarm shout against me have it fail once I pass level 40? DeeLow 20:29, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

Yes, it stops working on you, too. So if you're level 31 you can laugh at all these Draugr Deathlords. --Killfetzer 22:33, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

Disarm destroys weapon?Edit

i wonder if does this shout destroys weapon, i've lost my axe and cant find it :S 78.175.25.198 22:27, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

nope, didnt destroy, just drops. i just couldn't see it.. 78.175.25.198 22:28, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

Maybe it is worth noting, that your offhand weapon (left hand) will not get disarmed but just unequipped. I've searched for some minutes before I found it in my inventory... --Killfetzer 22:36, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

in theory shouldnt this workEdit

in theory if you use this shout on the carrier of the blade of woe (sorry couldnt remember her name) before the final mission you could disamr her pick it up and on the final mission pick it up again and have 2 blades of woe....????? — Unsigned comment by 85.211.62.224 (talk) at 17:24 on 18 February 2012

That seems plausible, yes. Someone found another method to do this, as already mentioned on the article for Blade of Woe. If you confirm that it works, that would be the place to document it. Robin Hoodtalk 06:26, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

Call of Valor HeroesEdit

Heroes summoned with Call of Valor shout can actually be disarmed and subsequently fight bare-handedly. — Unsigned comment by 175.143.243.26 (talk) at 13:29 on 3 March 2012‎

This shouldn't be possible, as you need to wait 180 seconds to do so, and the Hero summoned would be gone in 60. Unless you're cheating using the alchemy glitch and getting instant shouts. Even then, this is nothing special enough for this page. --Rosilea (talk) 21:49, 5 November 2012 (GMT)
It is possible. The heroes are actually disarmed by draugr enemies. Not by the dragonborn. This is not a cheat.

Sword missing, found enchanted one in inventoryEdit

I had a glass sword in my right hand and a glass dagger in my left. The dagger was put in my inventory as normal, but the sword didn't drop. I found an enchanted version (Glass sword of freezing, target takes 20 points of frost damage to health+stamina) which wasn't there before. Is this normal?--69.73.104.160 18:07, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

Are you sure you didn't have the enchanted glass sword in your inventory before you were disarmed? The unenchanted glass sword you were using is probably located on the floor somewhere. Wolok gro-Barok 18:10, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

It's possible to increase the level?Edit

It is possible to increase the level of the enemies this shout affect? Maybe with a potion or a perk.--78.150.248.207 21:20, 13 December 2012 (GMT)

ThwartingEdit

If you've got a Quest-item weapon (Balgruuf's Greatsword, for example) equipped, it cannot be blown from your grasp, correct? 76.185.41.201 06:44, 26 March 2013 (GMT)

Blocking?Edit

It's been my experience that blocking will safegaurd your weapon from being ripped from your hand, however the deathlord may have just missed. — Unsigned comment by 67.142.179.24 (talk) at 00:11 on 7 April 2013

What level are you? It only works on PCs up to level 30, so that may have been another reason. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 01:42, 6 May 2013 (GMT)
i have been affected by disarm when my level was above 30Martingolding96 (talk) 11:36, 1 December 2013 (GMT)

Default Follower Bow?Edit

With this shout, can the player disarm the default follower bow out of their hands? If I found out on my own before I get an answer, I'll post it here. --DaedalusMachina (talk) 17:30, 23 June 2015 (UTC)
