WalkthroughEdit

ExteriorEdit

Honeystrand Cave interior

A single leveled bear guards the entrance. There are three beehives nearby (one near the entrance and two on trees in front of the entrance with a vacant beehive between them), making it an ideal place for harvesting bees, beehive husks, and honeycombs. Also near the entrance is a beehive husk, two blisterwort fungi, a canis root, and many trees the bears have damaged or killed.

Honeystrand CaveEdit

The entrance leads directly into a single-chambered cave typically occupied by up to three bears. In front of you is an unlocked chest with a growth of imp stool fungus to the left and a dead bandit beside it; the bandit carries a copy of the Lockpicking skill book The Locked Room. Hanging from the roof of the cave and from ledges are many hanging moss plants, while several torchbugs are flying around the rear of the cave. Next to the west wall is a dead goat with another patch of imp stool, and against the north wall is a patch of white cap fungus. The floor of the cave is littered with old bones, both human and animal, including a lootable skeleton.

3 Hanging Moss

NotesEdit

  • A dead woodcutter's camp is not far from Honeystrand Cave. The campsite is northeast of the cave, up a hill towards Geirmund's Hall. Southeast of the campsite on the highest peak is a strange chicken nest built on barrels and skeletal remains guarded by a novice necromancer. Three of the chickens suddenly die as you approach. The fourth chicken, found already dead, may be revived by the necromancer to attack. Near the nest in an open box are three chicken's eggs and one giant's toe. A gourd plant is also nearby.
  • Honeystrand Cave appears in ESO as Honeystrand Hill.
