Two Handed is one of the six weapon skills available in Elder Scrolls Online. You can advance through this skill line by equipping a two-handed weapon.

LearningEdit

The Two Handed skill line is granted the first time you kill an enemy with a two-handed weapon equipped. You can increase your skill by engaging in combat with a two-handed weapon equipped, or by having Two Handed skills slotted. The more skills you have slotted, the faster your skill will increase. Nords are naturally gifted with Two Handed weapons, and will learn the ability more quickly than other races. In addition, you can earn free levels in the skill line by reading Skill Books, which may be found randomly on bookshelves anywhere. The skill books which increase Two Handed are:

Notes

  • The numbers displayed here are the base values for the skills. Magicka/Stamina Cost is based on a character of Level 50  160. Damage values are based on Max Magicka/Stamina 12000, Max Health 16000, and Weapon/Spell Damage 1000. The actual numbers you see in the game may depend on a variety of factors, including skill line rank, your equipped weapons and armor, other skills, enchantments, etc. As such, they should only be used as a comparative reference.

Ultimate AbilitiesEdit

Strike at an enemy with a vicious blow, dealing [9223 / 9324 / 9426 / 9527] Physical Damage to them and all nearby enemies. This attack ignores the target's Physical Resistance, and grants you Physical and Spell Resistance equal to the amount ignored from the initial target for 8 seconds.
     Onslaught Now grants Penetration for your direct damage attacks rather than Resistances, but for a shorter duration.
Strike at an enemy with a vicious blow, dealing 9528 Physical Damage to them and all nearby enemies. This attack ignores the target's Resistance and grants you Physical and Spell Penetration for your direct damage attacks equal to [85 / 90 / 95 / 100]% of the amount ignored from the initial target for 5 seconds.
   Berserker Rage You are immune to all disabling, snare, and immobilization effects for the duration.
Strike at an enemy with a vicious blow, dealing [9528 / 9633 / 9737 / 9842] Physical Damage to them and all nearby enemies. This attack ignores the target's Resistance and grants you Physical and Spell Resistance equal to the amount ignored from the initial target for 8 seconds. You are immune to all disabling, snare, and immobilization effects for the duration.

Active AbilitiesEdit

These abilities must be activated manually, while a two-handed weapon is equipped, for a cost.

Slam an enemy with an upward swing, dealing [7305 / 7384 / 7465 / 7545] Physical Damage and setting them Off Balance for 7 seconds. Hitting an enemy that is already Off Balance stuns them for 2 seconds. Targets that are immune to Off Balance are snared by 40% for 2 seconds.
   Wrecking Blow Grants you Empower and Major Berserk after casting.
Slam an enemy with an upward swing, dealing [7305 / 7384 / 7465 / 7545] Physical Damage. Grants you Empower and Major Berserk for 3 seconds, increasing the damage of your Heavy Attacks against monsters by 70% and your damage done by 10%.
   Critical Charge 4 Instant Enemy 22 meters 3780 Stamina
Launch across the earth and smash an enemy, dealing [3688 / 3728 / 3768 / 3809] Physical Damage. This attack is always a Critical Strike.
     Stampede Increases the cost and the charge now deals damage in an area around the target, and leaves residual damage at the impact area.
Cost: 4590 Stamina, Duration: 15 seconds, Area: 5 meters.
Launch across the earth and smash an enemy, dealing 3811 Physical Damage to them and all nearby enemies. This attack is always a Critical Strike. After reaching your target, you sunder the ground beneath you, dealing [846 / 855 / 864 / 874] Physical Damage to all enemies in the area every 1 second for 15 seconds.
   Critical Rush Deals more damage based on the distance traveled. Reduces the cost.
Cost: [3510 / 3420 / 3330 / 3240] Stamina.
Launch across the earth and smash an enemy, dealing 3811 Physical Damage. Deals up to 50% more damage based on the distance traveled. This attack is always a Critical Strike.
   Cleave 14 Instant Cone 7 meters 3510 Stamina
Focus your strength into a mighty swing, dealing [4610 / 4660 / 4711 / 4761] Physical Damage to enemies in front of you. You also gain a damage shield that absorbs [4610 / 4660 / 4711 / 4761] damage for 6 seconds.
     Carve Converts into Bleed Damage and applies a bleed over time to enemies hit.
Focus your strength into a mighty swing, dealing 4765 Bleed Damage to enemies in front of you, and causing them to bleed for an additional [7610 / 7691 / 7777 / 7861] Bleed Damage over 12 seconds. Hitting a target that is already bleeding from this ability extends the duration by 10 seconds, up to a maximum of 32. You also gain a damage shield that absorbs 4765 damage for 6 seconds.
   Brawler Damage shield now increases in strength for each enemy hit.
Focus your strength into a mighty swing, dealing 4765 Physical Damage to enemies in front of you. You also gain a damage shield that absorbs [4765 / 4816 / 4869 / 4921] damage for 6 seconds. Each enemy hit increases the damage shield's strength by 50%, up to 300%.
   Reverse Slash 20 Instant Enemy 7 meters 2430 Stamina
Spin around and strike an enemy down, dealing [3073 / 3107 / 3140 / 3174] Physical Damage. Deals up to 300% more damage to enemies with less than 50% Health.
     Reverse Slice Now deals its damage in an area around the initial target as well.
Area: 5 meters.
Spin around and strike an enemy down, dealing [3176 / 3211 / 3245 / 3280] Physical Damage to them and all nearby enemies. Deals up to 300% more damage to enemies with less than 50% Health.
   Executioner Converts to Bleed Damage and reduces the cost. Increases the amount of bonus damage dealt to low health targets.
Cost: 2160 Stamina.
Spin around and strike an enemy down, dealing 3176 Bleed Damage. Deals up to [385 / 390 / 395 / 400]% more damage to enemies with less than 50% Health.
   Momentum 38 Instant Self 20 seconds 3780 Stamina
Duration: [17 / 18 / 19 / 20] seconds.
Focus your strength and resolve to gain Major Brutality and Sorcery, increasing your Weapon and Spell Damage by 20%, as well as gaining Minor Endurance, increasing your Stamina Recovery by 15% for [17 / 18 / 19 / 20] seconds.
     Forward Momentum Reduces the cost, increases the duration, and provides a brief immunity to snares and immobilizations.
Cost: [3510 / 3420 / 3330 / 3240] Stamina, Duration: 40 seconds.
Focus your strength and resolve to gain Major Brutality and Sorcery, increasing your Weapon and Spell Damage by 20%, as well as gaining Minor Endurance, increasing your Stamina Recovery by 15% for 40 seconds. Activating this ability removes all snares and immobilizations from you and grants immunity to them for 4 seconds.
   Rally Also heals you when the effect expires.
Focus your strength and resolve to gain Major Brutality and Sorcery, increasing your Weapon and Spell Damage by 20%, as well as gaining Minor Endurance, increasing your Stamina Recovery by 15% for 20 seconds. You heal for [3176 / 3211 / 3245 / 3280] Health when Rally ends. The final heal is increased by 15% every 1 second, up to a maximum of 300%.

2 items: Activating Critical Charge stirs up a barbarous lust for battle within you for 18 seconds, increasing your damage done with direct damage attacks by 93, up to a maximum of 560. This effect scales off the higher of your Weapon and Spell Damage.

  Cleave Titanic Cleave
Perfected Titanic Cleave

2 items: Increases the direct damage Cleave deals by 36-1550 for each enemy in its cone.

  Reverse Slash Disciplined Slash
Perfected Disciplined Slash

2 items: When you deal damage with Reverse Slash, you generate up to 12 Ultimate based on how much execute bonus damage it dealt.

  Momentum Frenzied Momentum
Perfected Frenzied Momentum

2 items: While Momentum is active, casting Stamina abilities while in combat generates a stack of Frenzied Momentum for 20 seconds, increasing your Weapon and Spell Damage by 0-30 up to 10 times. After 5 or more stacks, your next Heavy Attack consumes all stacks and releases a violent explosion of energy around you, dealing 1084 Physical Damage to all enemies within 8 meters, scaling off the higher of your Weapon and Spell Damage.

Passive AbilitiesEdit

Passive abilities are active all the time, so long as a two-handed weapon is equipped.

   Heavy Weapons 10    (WITH A TWO-HANDED WEAPON EQUIPPED) Grants a bonus based on the type of weapon equipped: Swords increase your Weapon and Spell Damage by 129. Axes increase your Critical Damage done by 6%. Maces increase your Offensive Penetration by 1487.
25    (WITH A TWO-HANDED WEAPON EQUIPPED) Grants a bonus based on the type of weapon equipped: Swords increase your Weapon and Spell Damage by 258. Axes increase your Critical Damage done by 12%. Maces increase your Armor Penetration by 2974.
   Balanced Blade 17    (WITH TWO-HANDED WEAPON EQUIPPED) Reduces the Stamina cost of your Two-Handed abilities by 7%.
28    (WITH TWO-HANDED WEAPON EQUIPPED) Reduces the Stamina cost of your Two-Handed abilities by 15%.
   Follow Up 30    (WITH TWO-HANDED WEAPON EQUIPPED) When you complete a fully-charged Heavy Attack, your damage done with Two Handed attacks increases by 5% for 4 seconds.
46    (WITH TWO-HANDED WEAPON EQUIPPED) When you complete a fully-charged Heavy Attack, your damage done with Two Handed attacks increases by 10% for 4 seconds.
   Battle Rush 41    (WITH TWO-HANDED WEAPON EQUIPPED) Increases your Stamina Recovery by 15% for 10 seconds after killing a target.
50    (WITH TWO-HANDED WEAPON EQUIPPED) Increases your Stamina Recovery by 30% for 10 seconds after killing a target.

  • Wearing five pieces of the Sword Singer set from the Alik'r Desert increases the weapon damage of your two-handed abilities.
