Though other races often regard the Orcs as barbarians and even beasts, these noble warriors have an ancient culture forged from endless warfare in their harsh mountain homelands. Orcs live under a simple code of honor by which the strong survive and the strongest rule. As the greatest smiths in Tamriel, their weapons and armor are prized by warriors everywhere. During the reign of the Second Empire, when their kingdom of Orsinium was finally granted provincial status, its restoration helped solidify their devotion to the new Daggerfall Covenant.

In-Game DescriptionEdit

The racial skills of the Orcs reflect their native harsh mountain environment, giving them bonuses to heavy armor use, sprinting, weapon damage, inspiration gain, weapon proficiency, as well as base health and stamina.

Skill PerksEdit

Orcs have an associated skill line that complements their lore-based abilities with a focus on Heavy Armor usage and increased health pools and regeneration abilities. Abilities are listed below.

  • The numbers displayed here are the base values for the skills. Magicka/Stamina Cost is based on a character of Level 50  160. Damage values are based on Max Magicka/Stamina 12000, Max Health 16000, and Weapon/Spell Damage 1000. The actual numbers you see in the game may depend on a variety of factors, including skill line rank, your equipped weapons and armor, other skills, enchantments, etc. As such, they should only be used as a comparative reference.

   Craftsman 1     Increases your experience gain with the Heavy Armor skill line by 15%. Increases your crafting inspiration gained by 10%.
   Brawny 5    Increases your Max Stamina by 333.
15    Increases your Max Stamina by 666.
30    Increases your Max Stamina by 1000.
   Unflinching Rage 10    Increases your Max Health by 300. When you deal damage, you heal for 700 Health. This can occur once every 4 seconds.
20    Increases your Max Health by 600. When you deal damage, you heal for 1400 Health. This can occur once every 4 seconds.
40    Increases your Max Health by 1000. When you deal damage, you heal for 2125 Health. This can occur once every 4 seconds.
   Swift Warrior 25    Increases your Weapon and Spell Damage by 86. Reduces the cost of Sprint by 4% and increases the Movement Speed bonus of Sprint by 3%.
35    Increases your Weapon and Spell Damage by 127. Reduces the cost of Sprint by 8% and increases the Movement Speed bonus of Sprint by 6%.
50    Increases your Weapon and Spell Damage by 258. Reduces the cost of Sprint by 12% and increases the Movement Speed bonus of Sprint by 10%.
