Before Labor Dispute is complete, he will be sad his friends are either killed or taken by the Stormfists:
- "Hjolard sad. All my friends are gone."
After Labor Dispute is complete, he will be happy that Stormfists are gone:
- "The bad Nords are gone now and Hjolard is very happy!"

- An oversight that he will say the Stormfists are gone after completing Labor Dispute and before you complete Mystery Metal as the Stormfists still wander the mine during that period.
