Same person in Morrowind?Edit

Is this the same person that is the proprietor of the Ald Skar Inn in Morrowind? Or are they two different people with the same name?--Gaebrial 11:22, 6 October 2007 (EDT)

Looks like supposition to me. I'd say it's worth having a note on both articles pointing out that there's a character with the same name in the other game but stating that it's the same person is stretching things a bit. --RpehTalk 12:27, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
Yeah, I'm voting for coincidence based on random name generator. Considering how many Dunmer there are in Morrowind, it's not very surprising actually. But other than the name, these two people have nothing in common. The Morrowind Boderi was a common innkeeper. This one is an advanced Mysticism trainer in the Mages Guild. Quite the career-change, methinks. (For the record: her Mysticism skill in Morrowind was a glorious 11 points. Most of her other magic skills are only at 6. Destruction is at 16, but that hardly qualifies her as a Battlemage.) And nothing in either of the two Boderi's dialogues even vaguely suggests that they could be the same person. --TheRealLurlock Talk 15:57, 8 October 2007 (EDT)
Well, in a universe where a prison escapee can become the Champion of Cyrodiil (and the Master of the Fighters' Guild... or the Listener of the Black Hand... or the Arch-Mage!) there's always the opportunity for dramatic improvement. ;-) —Dark Spark 01:45, 12 July 2008 (EDT)

Trainer is the CITYEdit

Ok, before we start an edit war I'll state my reasons: I undid your edit because she says ' City ' in her dialogue, rather than University. This would mean that Martina Floria is left out, since the University is not included in the 'Districts' count. Also, since the player must already have access to the University to talk to Boderi, it is very difficult one wouldn't know about Martina. Dovyn Aren is therefore the only other trainer in the City. --SerCenKing Talk 14:22, 2 June 2009 (EDT)

Boderi responds with "Other arcane trainers in the City?"...", which clearly shows that she includes herself as someone qualifying to that description. Since Boderi lives in the University, by your criteria, she shouldn't include herself when talking on the subject of arcane trainers who live in the Imperial City. Strange, then, that she does. Martina lives in the same place that Boderi does, and she offers training in a school of magic. Hence, she is yet another arcane trainer fitting into what Boderi considers herself to be the City, since Boderi thinks of herself as such.
By what criteria do you exclude the Arcane University from being part of the Imperial City? Character paths to and from the University are linked to the City. The University is mentioned in City Watch directions dialogue; residents of the University fall within the IC Citizens faction; and, if it is a mere matter of proximity, the Waterfront is a longer walk from the main walls than the University, yet is well considered to be a part of the City (it takes longer for you to get to your "Imperial City" shack than it takes to reach the Chironasium). —Dark Spark 16:19, 2 June 2009 (EDT)
