Oblivion talk:Banus Alor

Banus Alor's HistoryEdit

I assume the information on Alor's history comes from conversations with him? In any case the source of the information should be added to the article. --RpehTalk 07:58, 9 July 2007 (EDT)

There is no way this can be anything but imaginationEdit

Where does the information about him being a part of House Hlaalu and a former mage come from? Discussions with him inside Applewatch, even when you do them to the fullest extent the game will let you as I did, does not yield any information about his background. I am going to go ahead and edit this so it only includes more substantiable information.Oblivion alchemyskillz 10:51, 9 July 2007 (EDT)

Info RestoredEdit

I think we need more than one confirmation that this info is false before it is removed from the page. I put it back for now, until someone else comes along to confirm whether it is true or not. --Eshe 13:45, 9 July 2007 (EDT)

I had a look at Banus' dialogue using the construction set and couldn't find anything about his history there. I'm going to put a message on Zvillegenius13's talk page to see if we can get anything else that way, but unless we receive some kind of confirmation I think it'll have to go. Does anybody know if Banus Alor pops up in Morrowind or one of the other games? I couldn't find him after a quick search, but I understand that not every NPC is going up on those pages. --RpehTalk 03:33, 10 July 2007 (EDT)
Well we've had no replies after a week so I'm removing the information. Pity, but incorrect information is worse than none. --RpehTalk 08:45, 17 July 2007 (EDT)

elaborateEdit

"Unlike several of the Black Hand members, Banus Alor is not yet known to be found outside of the Applewatch Farmhouse or the Night Mother statue during the final Dark Brotherhood quests." I don't quite understand this statement, can someone explain it please? — Unsigned comment by 82.42.53.15 (talk) at 18:19 on June 25, 2011

It is saying that until you find him at Applewatch farmhouse, he cannot be found elsewhere in the game, unlike several other members of the Black Hand, who live around cities. Such as Ungolim, J'Ghasta, and Alval Uvani. This page still has some expanding to do however, as it is not finished. --DKong27 Talk Cont 23:46, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
