Liquid Magic is an alchemy shop located in the southeast corner of Kathar.
The proprietor, Run'garlen, has 10,000 gold, a Mercantile skill of 21, and buys and sell books, apparatus, ingredients, and potions.
The shop occupies the lower floor of the building; Run'garlen waits to serve customers from behind a curved counter to the right, while another pair of counters on the left display various alchemical apparatus for sale. A set of stairs leads up to the second floor, which is one large room and Run'garlen's living quarters. Bookshelves and cupboards line the walls, and the floor is covered with various rugs.
A trap door below the stairs leads to a hidden basement where slaves are tortured. An upper level is used for storage, and a deep shaft leads down to the actual torture chamber, which holds various implements of torture, along with an area for alchemical experimentation. Another shaft leads down to a holding cell; a grate over part of the cell lets in poison gas to easily deal with unwanted slaves.
