Chestnut Handy Stables is a stable west of the Imperial City.
Although the stable will not sell you a horse, your horse will appear here when you fast travel to the city, as with other stables. It is implied that the stable's ostler, Snak gra-Bura, ate the previous stock of horses.
If the Horse Armor Pack official download is installed, Snak gra-Bura will outfit any legally owned horse with either elven or steel horse armor. The first set of armor is free when you give her the Horse Armor Note. Alternatively, if you have no horse, you may ask her to give you a free armored horse, an Old Nag in steel armor. Each subsequent set of horse armor costs 500 gold; a horse in one type of armor may be outfitted with the other type for the same price.
