The Amulet of Mephala is an artifact associated with the Daedric Prince Mephala. The artifact rewards the user with increased vitality in exchange for sacrificing those that trust them, with the effect becoming more potent as more are betrayed. Physically, it is a silver necklace with an Emerald embedded with it.[1]

Accounts of Mephala's involvement differ, but it is said that in 4E 176 she offered her assistance in killing her former minion Moivva Karnai, a Khajiit in service to the Thalmor which she grew tired of. She is rumored to have offered to weaken her minion, or she may have granted her own amulet or the Ebony Blade to complete the assassination.[2]
